- Q: I am going to Poland for a few weeks and I was wondering if my phone will work there. Poland got the phone network T-mobile and i was just thinking maybe it could let me call to other people in Poland or just the US. Please helppppp.
- You will have to check with them first.
- Q: I really want to know how to send instant messages to mobile phones using Yahoo! Messenger Please help me!
- Yahoo! Messenger keeps you connected even when you're away from your PC. There are two ways to use Yahoo! Messenger with your mobile phone: *Send IMs as text messages from your PC to your friends' mobile phones *Sign into Yahoo! Messenger from your mobile phone and send IMs to your friends when you're away from your PC To start using Yahoo! Messenger right from your phone, find out which version works best for your phone model, it's easy! *Go to Yahoo! Mobile *Choose your carrier *Enter your phone brand and model
- Q: Hi i have been doing some research into mobile phones and i came across a few terms that really confused me, i understand that when you talk on the phone the data is converted from your voice into digital signals, the part i dont understand is where modulation such as PSK occurs and how TDMA and CDMA fits into all of this can someone tell me what the relation is between these things.thank you
- There are a few parts to a mobile phone system: most obviously you have the radio interface, some kind of two way radio link between the handset and the 'base station'. This transmitts and recieves digital data using quadrature phase shift keying (PSK). This is a kind of modulation very similar to FM, but is used with digital signals rather than analogue signals. So the digital data is used to phase shift modulate an RF carrier which is then transmitted, and picked up by the base station, which then demodulates the PSK signal to recover the digital data. This is all very well and good, but what do we do when we have many users? How can the base station distinguish between the signal from one hand set and another? This is where Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) come into play. TDMA (used in GSM systems) is a kind of time division multiplexing. Each user gets a certain 'time slot' in which they are allowed to transmit their PSK signal in. So each user takes a turn and sends a few bytes at a time. In GSM there are 8 time slots (I think, i cannot recall exactly) in each channel (frequency). The bit rate is low and special vocoders are used to get voice audio into a low bit rate. CDMA works differently, on principles originated by an Austrian actor (and electrical engineer and mathematician!) Hedy Lamarr
- Q: Mobile phone mobile traffic why not open the Internet?
- If all the software can not access the Internet, it is recommended that you check the network access point settings are correct.
- Q: i lost my mobile yesterday wen iwas at school, last thing i remember is pushing it back into my pocket just before entering the playground after having lunch at home What should i do?I've already looked in the 3 classrooms i was in but should i ask everyone at school??? - check lost property. Mabye somebody stole out out of your pocket. Thats what happen to me. Hope you find it.
- Q: I had a t mobile phone but it broke and i was wondering if i could buy one of those and just put the SIM card from my old phone in it and will it work?
- as long as the phone has a sim card slot you can use it no matter what. tmobile, att and some verizon phones, and unlocked ones all work as long as they have the slot.
- Q: i want details of How many mobile phone users in the world in 2011 so please tell me true ans.

- Q: If I were to go to a T-Mobile store, and buy, say a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, for FULL price, could I use it with another carrier like ATT, or Straight Talk?Do T-Mobile phones come unlocked since I did buy it full price?
- If I were to go to a T-Mobile store, and buy, say a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, for FULL price, could I use it with another carrier like ATT, or Straight Talk? ------------ no…. tmobile wont sell you’re a phone at full price no matter how much you beg them Do T-Mobile phones come unlocked since I did buy it full price? ---------- no, contract, subsidy, or full price still means its locked. 1) Wireless Carrier stores, called CORS (company owned retail stores), do not sell phones at full price to non-customers. Either you are already a customer of theirs…. Or…. plan on being a customer of theirs in the next 10-15 minutes. Lmao 2) Branded wireless carrier phones sold at Full Price (499-699) on national retailer sotres and sites (walmart, amazon, radioshack, best buy) are locked to that carrier. You must call the carrier to obtain the unlock code. 3) Non-branded wireless carrier phones are sold ONLY by the OEM and are naturally unlocked, may/may not have additional hardware/software installed than basic wireless carrier versions, and are geared, mod’d more to developers and techs rather than the idiot sheeple of the general public. They are $699-$999…
- Q: I have the i776w boost mobile phone(you know the new purple one) and i want to change it to t-mobile because boost is ripping me off and giving me problems. There are too many dropped calls, bad signals and text messages will sometimes arrive late or not at all. Sometimes when i'm not even using my phone it says its busy and nobody can reach me on it. I can't download anything for free and i've bought 5 applications and i don't know how many wallpapers. But its whatever. I just want the unlock code, thats all.
- Don't even bother trying to unlock it if you are going to try using it with T-Mobile as it will not work. Boost Mobile's i series phones are iDEN, while T-Mobile's phones and network are GSM. While both use sim cards, they are two different technologies and are not compatible with each other. iDEN phones can only be used with other iDEN providers, such as Nextel and SouthernLINC. As far as unlocking, each phone will have a different unlock code, so one phone's unlock code will not work with another phone.
- Q: Hey, I'm having a problem with my new cell phone. I just got it a few days ago, it's a Virgin Mobile TNT model, also known as Kyocera Adreno S2400. The screen has gone black. The battery is fully charged, and the phone actually seems to still be on, since it's making sounds upon opening and closing. Hitting/holding the end button to turn it on or off produces no response. So basically right now, rather than having a cell phone I have a little box that makes noises when I open and close it. I've tried the Virgin Mobile website, but they don't really have a troubleshooting section. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how I could fix it?
- I also have the TNT, and actually had the exact same thing happen a couple weeks ago. I decided to hold the power button in for a few seconds so it would shut off (yes, I know it's hard to tell because the screen is black). I waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it was fine. If this doesn't work, try removing the battery and putting it back in. Also, I know through the Virgin Mobile website and most stores you buy the phones at, have a 30 day guarantee, so if all else fails, return the phone.
