Q: What is the difference in size between a Cal King and a Reg King bed?: a california king is 72 wide by 84 long - giving each person about 36 of bed width - which when you are sharing a bed isn't very much. regular king size bed is 76 wide by 80 long - giving you more space to spread out~lol. hubby and i tried both and ended up buying the regular king size bed -which is handy because the dog generally sneaks up in the middle of the night and curls up to sleep!!! lol

Q: tanning bed precautions: i don't think its good for you when pregnant. it either says not to do so when pregnant or to consult a physician at one of the places i used to tan at. im not a doctor, but i dont see why it could harm your child. personally it couldn't be worse then smoking or drinking right? it might have to do with your skin while pregnant though. i read about some symptoms of pregnancy and you tend to get itchy skin and tanning could potentially make it worse. you could always ask your ob-gyn to be safe though, i would. =] snaps cassie has a valid point there. didn't think of that!

The bed will keep the heat from radiating properly. When the heat comes out it will overheat you. Consistent heat on your bedding will eventually dry rot it. I suggest you look for a cover for it if you keep the bed where it is to avoid random skin burns. You can find great covers at Architectural Salvage shops. You can even fashion one from an old fireplace mantle.
