Q: i know they are meant to be done as one piercing and with one bar to reduce the risk of them not aligning properly but is it possible to have it done as one piercing and then replacing the bar with two separate ones after it has partially healed. is there still a risk? also, how low down and at what angle should the bar be?thanks x
They can be done as two separate piercings, and it is up to the piercer and the shape of your ear to decide if something like that will be done. However, I would not recommend it, because even if it is partially healed, putting two separate earrings in can still misalign the piercing when you go to put the bar back in later. I would recommend keeping the bar in, it's a guaranteed way to make your piercing work out. Besides, once you get used to the bar, you won't even know you have it in! Much easier than keeping track of two separate earrings and making sure they still align months down the road. As for the angle, it depends on your preference and what is able to be done due to the shape of your ear. Some people want theirs straight across, others want a much steeper angle. It all depends on preference and shape of ear. Hope this helps, good luck!
Q: Is there any reason why you shouldn't?
I think that depends on the application and how you want your floor to look. They tend to be about 2 thick and wide (which is good for a scaffold). But most flooring is only 3/4 thick. If you have a way to resaw them that might be good. When I was a kid (1965) I worked in a factory with a wood floor and the boards were 2 thick and about 8 wide. This was a good floor when the factory was built about 1920. Not so good these days. In the right setting they could be very interesting and decorative especially if you can leave the old paint and marks on them.
Q: I think THAT would be entertaining.
New Jack? Jack Swagger O_o
Q: how much does a scaffolding business earn a year?
The amount earnt very much depends on the size of the business, contacts within the industry, membership of industry associations and the country that you are operating in.
Q: Bowl buckle scaffold is not a pipe fitting scaffold
Bowl buckle scaffold with steel scaffolding is different
Q: Im wondering what scaffolding means because my husband is going to louisiana to go work quot;scaffoldingquot; and i was wondering what they do
Scaffolding is the framework of metal tubes and wooden planks which is built up around a building, so the workers can stand safely.
Q: what physical properties on a molecular level does steel have that make it suitable for scaffolding.
The reason is simple.....Bamboo will bend in the event of a typhoon and is thus safer than steel scaffolding.
Q: how much compensation can i get for falling of scaffolding and breaking my arm?
Stay off scaffolding, wanker.
Q: So I've had my 14g industrial for about 5 months now and would like to change it to something else and I got curious about what kind of jewelry I could possibly use with this piercing. Like can I use labrets, tragus, helix or plain stud with rounded backs or the same gauge? I've tried looking it up, but I can't seem to find anything.
Tragus and helix are types of piercings, not jewelry. If something is marketed as a tragus stud, helix stud, etc. it's low quality and should be avoided. High quality body jewelry is very versatile, there are a few basic styles of jewelry that are essentially used for all piercings (straight barbell, curved barbell, circular barbell, labret, rings). You will more or less be limited to straight barbells for industrial piercings. Of course there are an endless number of different ends you can choose from. Keep in mind after only 5 months your industrial is likely still healing, they can take upwards of a year to fully heal. If healing is going well and you really want to have the jewelry changed I'd suggest having it done by a reputable professional piercer.
Q: What kind body jewlery would match a scaffold piercing?
If you mean what can you wear in your scaffold then the answer is simple. Any bar that is the correct length and shape. The best way to make sure of this is to go to your body piercer and ask them to help you order a new bar. You can also just change the ends if you're looking for a new look. If you get the wrong length and shape, you can end up ruining your piercing. Bars that are the wrong size can put pressure on the piercings and cause them to migrate, deform, form keloids, or at the least be very sore. Just pop into your piercer and order the right thing! If you mean what would match to be worn with it, not in it then just about any body jewlery will look fine.
