Q: I have a mouse and its bedding stinks the next day after changing it
What okorder /
Q: ok ive been going to the tanning bed now every 2 days and my sides are still white and someone told me i need to flip well how do i lay my face do i just keep turning my head back and forth and also i have this spray for my hair its called sun in it gives u highlights when exposed to heat or sun do u think it would be ok to wear in the tanning bed to ? any information on tanning is helpful im new to it
to tan your sides just lay on your side, it might be a tight squeeze but it will work. if you're on your left side, keep your right arm under your head so you can tan your underarms too and then vice versa for your right side. i usually lay on my stomach for about half the time. i turn my head back and forth, and sometimes put my chin on the bed so i can tan my neck and under my chin. my hair stylist told me sun-in is a bad idea and that it would turn my hair orange (i have brown hair). if you have brown hair too then i suggest brilliant brunette (although it does make your hair fall out more.. gross) or aveda has some great, more pricey products.
Q: I've recently adopted a cat and for the first week I let him sleep on my bed so he could adjust to the new home (I also hadn't bought a cat bed yet) Now he has a cat bed but he prefers to sleep in my bed or on my lap... Is there some method or trick to teach him to sleep in his own bed? Or am I just stuck with the In the bed, out of the bed, back in the bed, out of the bed back in the bed routine?
You can't cats don't work like that I don't see why you think they would
Q: I just moved into a rental house. After a few days I noticed several bites on me. I called the landlord. He said I must have brought the bed bugs with me. The problem is, I never had bed bugs before.
Bed bugs can be brought in by several different means, but keep in mind that it's hard to identify any pest from just the bites alone, since a lot of house pests are able to bite. You cannot rely on the landlord telling you they are bed bugs, but instead, if you thoroughly inspect some key areas, you may be able to find evidence of a bed bug infestation. Bed bugs can hitch rides from so many different things. If you stayed in an infested hotel or a home that was infested with bed bugs, they can easily go into your luggage and make their way into your home. Bed bugs can also be carried in from secondhand materials (which usually happens) like secondhand furniture, especially mattresses, sofas, couches, and other pieces of furniture like tables and nightstands. You may have also brought them in from secondhand clothing. Bed bugs are a nuisance when you have them, but they're impossible to get rid of. Remember though, you should always identify a pest before applying any type of pesticide. It's potentially really harmful to you and the environment and it will all be in vain if you apply a bunch of bed bug products and later find out you have fleas.
Q: No matter where she sleeps (my bed/her bed/anything) she sometimes starts scratching the surface in a kind of sitting position.. what does this mean?
She is getting herself comfortable
Q: Why when we were kids or when we were adults, did we say Don't let the bed bugs bite! Before they went to sleep??
Bed bugs were probably more prevalent back then. Making a great comeback today! Not sure why a parent would tell their child to watch out for bugs though. Why not say watch the monster under the bed!
Q: I want to find some blue teen bedding (single duvet and pillow case) for a girl, preferably with a surf/beach/swirls theme.
Bed okorder is another place with a good selection of bedding.
Q: I found 5 of these on my bed.. but they didn't really run away. I was laying in bed on my computer. And found two. Then I called my grandma and we looked and found 3 more. The last one sort of flew a little. It was like a weak fly like 2 inches above the surface of the bed and 3 inches around. Then I found these stains on the corner of the bed. It could be paint, or dirt or ink from a pen. Or me being paranoid. But I really need to know because I can't sleep! Here are the photos of the stains and the bug before I killed it and after.http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/803/img0869b.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/38/img0872uc.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/829/img0874q.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/864/img0868m.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/811/img0870za.jpg/
Ive never seen a bed bug fly, or a bed bug with wings. Looks more like a flea to me. The stains on the sham don't look like bed bug nesting to me either. Do an image search for bed bugs, that should answer your curiosity.
Q: how was his transition from your bed to his?
When my son was born, we were living in a one-bedroom apartment so like it or not he was sleeping in our room. But in the end I was happy he was there right next to me -- he slept in a bassinet but would wake several times a night to breastfeed and we would often fall to sleep together in the big bed with daddy. Honestly, I've heard so much from new moms about how ragged out they get from night wakings but ours was such a easy time because my baby was so close there was never any real awake time and no fussing. When he was seven months we moved to a larger home, where he got his own bedroom. We started immediately having him sleep in his crib in his new room. At first he would wake a lot and need comforting to sleep -- and I'll be honest, when I was feeling really lazy, I'd just bring him into bed with us and we'd fall asleep together. If I happen to wake back up, I'd bring him to his room otherwise, he'd stay. But very quickly he got used to his room and would sleep through the night. Now at 2, we have very few problems with his sleeping (on rare occassions he'll wake up and come in our room -- he's got a big boy bed now so can get out himself). He sleeps through the night 90 percent of the time and I attribute it to the fact that there was never any traumatic moment of being forced to sleep somewhere he didn't want to and he is very trustful that we are there for him.
Q: Is it possible that you can bring bed bugs back to your house if you are in an infected location. I was at a friends apartment last week and she told me today that she has bed bugs! I'm terrified that I might have brought them back with me. I'm afraid to go to bed now...
It is possiable to bring them home since they get into anything that has fabric . However to ease your mind wash everything in hot water you can dry in dryer. Second for the things you can't wash go by some bed bug spray and spray everything else.Including stuff animals, extra linens,etc... If it's been longer than 72 hours and you haven't seen any bugs or eggs you are probably safe but I would at least use the spray if I was uncomfortable...
