Q: Does anybody have any ideas how to extend the height of a wooden bed, on the legs for example glue extra wood on base of legs??I have just brought a single bed and already have a pull out bed mattress to fit underneath.Its a tight squeeze in height and would be easier if the bed was another inch higher.Any ideas?Thanks.: It depends a lot of the feet and configuration, but you are looking at adding about 6 to the bottom of each leg. That's a lot to add, given the stress it will be under.

Q: I have 2 boxers who love to share a dog bed. I've had several beds in the past and they just break down and flatten! The beds from Pet** and PetS**** just aren't any good.I've been told LL Bean and Mammoth have good beds. Help!: i've had beds from all four of those places and the best thing i ever did was go buy one of those foam mattress tops for a human bed. once my 'orthopedic' dog beds broke down i simply opened them up and re-stuffed them with the foam and it made a sturdier bed that was so much better on the joints. and they lasted about 2 years before i had to replace the insert i made. it's a cheaper and better quality alternative.

Q: I know a question similar was asked before but I need a somewhat specific answer of what I need to do/what products to buy. I live in a dorm and unfortunately we have beds without holes, therefore no screws to bunk the bed. Is there a safe way to do this without damaging the beds? Q: When I first bought my hamster cage, it included a starter pack which included food, water bottle, shavings, etc. I didn't know that the bedding was pine bedding, and when I ran out I changed to aspen bedding. I heard that pine is bad for hamsters, and I used it for a month. I changed to aspen bedding today, but since then my hamster has been acting strange. He doesn't move around as much, and when he is on his wheel he doesnt run, he just walks. Was always sneezing and having runny nose when cleaning my hamsters' cage. Now, I'm using Kaytee Clean Cozy. It's nearly dust-free. Can't spot any dust. Don't use scented bedding as it is bad for them. If you're worried, just bring it to the vet.
