As can be seen, carbon fibre has excellent strength and low density. If these two factors are considered together, therefore looking at ‘specific strength’, then the benefits of carbon fibre look even more impressive. This is highlighted in the graph opposite.
Manufacturing Process -
How are the tubes made?
When the laminate has been designed and verified by our engineers the individual patterns are fed to our 5 metre long CNC cutting table which cuts out each pattern precisely. The materials we use are cloths which already have the resin matrix impregnated in to them, known as pre-pregs.
Next, these prepreg layers are wrapped around the male tooling (mandrels) which determine the Inside Diameter (ID) of the tube. These patterns are wrapped in an exact sequence on our machine driven rolling table to ensure consistency and accuracy of the lay-up.
The tubes are then subjected to a high temperature curing cycle under pressure in our electronically controlled ovens and finally removed from the tooling using a hydraulically powered puller mechanism.
Once complete, the raw blank is then ready to be machined and finished in line with the design specification.

- Q: i hear noise from the front suspension and is mostly from the drive side . when i bought the car the inner cv boots were torn so i had both axles changed as well as both outer tie rods and the left inner tie rod only. also i have changed the sway bars and the bushing for the front struts. the noise still there but i feel like the has been a little reduce in the noise but still i can hear it almost as loud!!! we even checked the hood, the air pressure in tires to see if they are the reasons for that noise but the answer was no!.on high speed i cant hear the noise, only when i drive in the city and if the roads have a lot of small bumps i can hear it but when i go on big bumps like speed bumps i dont hear the noise really! the mechanic shop tested drive my car and took my struts out and said they look worn out but still doing their job and there is no leak from the struts. and they said the arm controls look fine too. so i really want to know what produces the noise!!!???

You can get badly injured playing most sports. You reduce risk on a motorcycle by: Wearing proper safety equipment. Going through a training school. Understand how to spot trouble before it happens. This goes beyond basic defensive driving. You should be able to look down a road and predict how traffic is going to react long before it does. I also recommend eliminating rules of the road mindset. By that I mean, forget what the rules are and how cars are supposed to behave according to road laws they don't. Forget laws and think of it more like navigating a small boat down a dynamic stream with moving obstacles. You don't expect objects in a river to follow patterns and laws, you shouldn't expect cars to follow laws and patterns.I see no reason why you can start riding at 16. I was on a minibike at 5. A dirtbike at 12. A streetbike at 16. At some point, you will be tempted to test the bike with speed or manuvering. You will be tempted to show off to friends and or girls. You will be tempted to give your friends rides on the back. You will be tempted to do something out of place like go off road or something. Avoid these temptations as a new rider, as they are how new riders tend to screw up.

- If you mean the drain pipe that connects to your sewer system it can get pricey depending on how much needs to be removed, replaced. Typically, the costs come in labor rather than in parts when it comes to pipes and fittings. IF what you're asking about involves where the toilet seats to the floor, and IF you actually need to replace everything vs. just reseating the commode (1 source of leaks in a toilet is a bad seal $10.00 part and 45 minutes of labor), then at a minimum you're looking at getting a new flange, (perhaps with extensions), a new wax ring, likely an elbow of some kind, and an appropriate run of pipe. All those parts run about $50.00 (Give or take) when working with plastic/PVC. More with metal. To replace them means moving the commode (15-30 minutes), cleaning the area and removing the damaged pipe. Depending on the damage that could take a couple of hours or it could take another 15-30 minutes. Replacing, cementing, fixing, futzing I'd anticipate 2.5 hours and $75.00 in parts. - Did you ever build model cars as a kid, or anything close to this? If so, you'll like CPVC. I'd go with the CPVC, and not use PVC, because CPVC will work on both Hot, and Cold water installations. CPVC, and PVC are physically different sizes, so you'd be doing a lot of juggling. Why hassle? CPVC costs just a tiny bit more than PVC, but it's worth it if you're under a house, or in a cramped space, and go..Oh crap, that parts outside, in a box in the truck! (NO, I've NEVER done that,LOL!) You can use the rubber sleeves,(looks like a black rubber piece of thick tubing), to attach the galvanized pipe to the CPVC. Sometimes the collars with the brass/plastic ferrules won't work due to size differences.(it's an adapter,that looks like a tube with two twist on caps,on each end, to connect two pipe together, going from galvanized to CPVC,[or PVC], that has a plastic 'ferrule' for CPVC, and a brass ferrule for galvanized. I use the cleaner/primer, then glue. I wait 20 seconds applying pressure to keep the part's together, then go on to the next peice. I usually wait an hour or so before I turn the water on. (I've known guy's who've turned it on after 20 minutes) It really isn't that tough, just like putting a puzzle together. I suggest a cardboard box underneath with you with pre-cleaned, and primered parts, inside, then clean, and primer your pipe ends, on the spot. Use a knife, and/or some sandpaper to de-burr the ends of the pipe after you've cut them with a hacksaw. Just my 2cent's!

- Hey Donwhere do you live that you never heard of house burning down from being struck by lightning?? It happens regularly here in Texas and most of the midwest. The cost of the net work for the lightning rods may be a factor. Most have to be made of copper with the wiring also copper.
