- Q:The developer used a kitchen cabinet for the vanity in the bathroom. It's really big and has lots of storage but It's kind of deep, which means you can't get really close to the mirror and has no drawer space, but I can deal with that. Problem is it's counter height and he installed an above counter faucet. I'm 5'5" and it's tough for me to use. Any ideas on how to fix? Get a recessed sink installed. The countertop is granite... - Q:I was taking off a bathroom vanity light and the wires came undone.Usually, it is just a black to black, a white to white and a ground to hook up the light...but when I looked at the wires...There is a white wire coming out of the wall above the sink where I am going to put it ing out of the white wire istwo black wires caped together.two white wires caped together and one red wire caped by itself.When I hook the black and white wires on the light to the black and white wires on the wall...the light turns on, but then the wall switch will not turn off.Does anyone know how to wire this light with this wire configuration?
