Has anyone ever painted or stained the oak one a different color to match their bathroom a little better. Like a darker cherry vs. the light oak that you buy it as ?Was wondering if this could be done, or a good idea, would I have to prime it first, I mean it is wood, it should be able to absorb and accept a good quality wood stain, right ?
- Most of the pre fab cabinetry sold at the big box stores are usually veneered MDF. Meaning you probably won't be able to stain the cabinet. You may be able to paint the cabinet.

- I would suggest locating the studs behind the vanity first. Most likely the fasteners are embedded in wood studs. Good luck!

- to be honest it may be easier to buy an new vanity.... Installing drawers can be challenging.....I am not aware of any kits... you will need to remove to false drawers.....install glides and make drawers.....
- Q: Well here's the story. I was dying my hair last night and for the first time since I started dying my hair (it's been about 8 years) I ended up getting dye on the cabinet. Well I've tried pretty much everything I can think of to get it off and it's stained. - Modern: Get a wood countertop and paint the cabinet white use one large mirror match the wall color for the rug add a punch accent color like orange. Using wood tones on the cabinet against the wood floor would be to much confusion.

- Forgetting about drunk guests.... I am an adult. I do not need anything that I cannot and do not supply for myself. I have never, in my life, been anywhere where I wished I had hairspray or a hair clip. I leave my home with deodorant, body lotion and tampon in place. Supply a wonderful pump soap that is irresistibly scented and perhaps a matching lotion. That's it. Bath and Body works have great duos.
