- Try looking for a cabinet or something like that, and converting it into a bathroom vanity, by cutting a hole in the top for the sink, tiling, or putting several coats of sealer on the wood. If it has drawers you could cut them to fit aroud the pipes, and replacing the sides where you cut. You might be able to look at garage sales, estate auctions, or thrift stores. Who knows? You might end up with something really cool.

- Q: We bought a vanity set from Home Depot for our bathroom. It came with the base (vanity) and a counter/sink piece to sit on top. We don't see anyway to secure the counter to the vanity. It just sits there. But it rocks a little actually. Seems like it should stay in place somehow other than because the faucet is attached to the plumbing. How do we do this? It didn't come with any pieces, and maybe it should have come with directions we don't have.Thanks
- i place about an inch of caulk at all four corners, if you ever need to take if off it would be almost impossible if you caulk the entire edges. other than that its just the weight of it that keeps it in place. (the vanity cabinet should be attached to the wall with screws) place the vanity top in place, do not push down too hard or all the caulk will be pressed out and it could still rock a little. caulk around where the vanity top meets the wall to keep out water.
- Q: We want to install a larger vanity in our bathroom but the toilet is in the way. Would it be possible to install one on the wall next to it? The vanity would still be covering up the plumbing but I didnt know if it could be lengthened and run through the cabinet to the sink. What about if we installed a double vanity? - If I understand your explanation I think you can make this happen. You just need to choose a vanity without drawers on that side. You'll be lengthening the water supply lines and drain to be able to reach the sink and you'll have to make sure the longer drain line can run slightly downhill between the P trap and the connection at the wall. The extra length there might give you minor problems in the future if it gets even a little clogged because there is so much more pipe before the plumbing vent in the wall but it should be manageable.
- Q: I recently purchased an expensive bathroom vanity with a marble top. I was told the marble was sealed and I didnt have to do anything to it. But now when water splashes on it and I wipe it it leaves a dark spot that goes away after about an hour or so. The weird thing is the marks do go away but they dont go away fully when I wipe them.

- i would look at lowes or home depot and just go with a simple silver plated knob don't waste money on a treandy beaded knob or anything fancy *(*
