- Q: I just found out that the guy downstairs found 5 bed bugs in his bed!
- Do you and the guy live in the same house? Or even if not, you had better protect yourself before bed bugs get you. That won't be too long. If you have no indications that bed bugs are in your house, get some Bed Bug Powder online, and spread it over the mattress (under the sheets) and also on the floor (around the bed frame). That way you can have a barrier between you and bugs if they smell you. The powder I recommend you is very reasonable price yet works great. It is natural powder so it is safe to you once it is settled. I had a bed bug infestation long time ago, and since I saw bed bugs in my room, I had to wash everything with hot water and put steam heat everywhere so that live bed bugs would die.... but keeping the Bed Bug Powder around the bed definitely got rid of bed bugs. But in your case, you have NOT seen actual bed bugs in your house, only you should do is to puff the bed bug powder on where you sleep. It is easy to get bedbugs, but is a lot harder to get rid of them once you get the infestation. Be prepared.

- Tell them to use a hot steam and Bed Bug Powder. I had them years ago and trid so many different things to get rid of bed bugs, but that is the only way that actually worked. First of all, wash all the bedding items with HOT water. Also use a steam cleaner on the mattress or floor. what that does is that heat over 120 degrees kills live bed bugs hiding in the mattress or sheets. If it is summer, you can take the mattress out under the direct sunlight for a few hours, but it is easier and more effective to use a steamer because of the current weather. Then sprinkle the Bed Bug Powder on the infected area, and that is it!! Just small amount of Bed Bug Powder can get rid of bed bugs, and it lasts, seems to be, forever. Good luck!

- I agree with superme I did the same with my daughter too. She went straight to a regular twin bed but I bought her a pretty step stool and a guard rail so she wouldnt fall of and it worked fine for her. If she's one that rolls around a lot you might want to put the bed on the floor then. Now if you do get her own bed and she still gives you trouble it's because she's use to sleeping with you so you might want to try reading her to sleep and go through the routen of constently put her back to bed everytime she gets up until she gets the piont that she's not going back in mom's bed.
