FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the difference between double loading and full body?

—— Double loading means the bisque tile is with 2 layers of basic materials spreaded, while full body means the bisque tile is made of the same basic material.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: I am doing a research project at school on erosion, and one of the members on my research team said something about underground tiles that run water into the nearest body of water. We have been trying to locate a source, or ANY piece of information on this subject, but have failed. Is there anyone who can help us?
These aren't erosion tiles, they are drainage tiles. Do a web search on tile drainage and you'll find out all you need to know about the subject. BTW, tiles and tile lines are just underground pipes with holes in them, used to lower shallow water tables. It wasn't clear to me that you understood this, so sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious.
Q: I‘m tiling a bathroom counter and have all my supplies but not sure I purchased the right trowel. I purchased a square-notched trowel 1/4x1/4x1/4. What is the difference between this one and the one I see commonly used on tv and on other tiling jobs...the razor tooth edge type?
If you are setting your tiles with thinset mortar, you have the correct trowel. If you are using a mastic glue, then you nee the smaller notched trowel probably 1/8 by 1/8. Thinset needs more thickness for the material to properly bond. If spread too thin it will dry to a power form and fail rather quickly. In the years that I worked in commercial and residential flooring, we always used the 1/4 notched trowel for thinset and 1/8 trowel for all glues. I hope this helps to answer your question.
Q: Immediately home decoration, and now consider the floor, but they do not understand anything, so would like to ask about what the advantages of the two? How much can the cost be?
Ordinary price wrong is not too much ordinary wood flooring for a long time easy to deformation and decay but the tiles will not be and can also effect
Q: I have an on going problem in my kitchen. Same time tile floor was done in our home but kitchen is the problem. It was done 3-4 years ago by a contractor, however he never showed up his face to help us. He left some grout with us and said if ever the grout pops up then we can mix it in the water and fill with this mixture. The grout from the kitchen floor always comes out. Underneath, the kitchen is wood floor. The kitchen is on the second floor. Our family room is also on the second level but no problem to that floor Please help.

Q: I want to install wood look laminate flooring. I have a sliding glass door with metal frame. I can‘t put shoe molding around it since it‘s metal so what do I do? Also, with porcelain tile, do I create some type of frame around the tile with real wood or is there a transition for this.
For the tile you can get metal edging to use as a transition from the tile to whatever else; the shape of the edging is determined by what it butts up against. Several different shapes are available in various colors. It is mortared in under the tiles to form a finished edge. You can get this stuff at Home Depot in the tile department.
Q: What is good for tiles?
Now the market is full of a lot of ceramic tile brand, a national well-known brands, there are some small brands for the local market, of course, in the conditions and budget allowed to recommend or choose some well-known brands, so the quality of the product more To ensure that at the same time after-sales service and construction guidance and so will be more sound, the following can give you some of the market on the front of the brand sales De Gao, Leibang Si, Xi card, porcelain Lai paste, the proposal is for reference only, specific Or you need to decide.
Q: would cover a 12 ft by 15 ft floor if you choose to use 10 in by 12 in tiles?
Ency is of course correct but doesn't understand that this section is called Homework Help for a reason. This is not a quiz question where you are showing how smart you are by getting the correct answer. The asker needs to know how to calculate it. In that respect Ency's answer is as much use as a plastic teabag! Ok there are 12 inches in a foot. Therefore placing the 12 inch edge down the 12 foot side, means that 12 tiles are required to form each row. Then 15 feet converts to 15 * 12 = 180 inches. Therefore as the other edge of the tile is 10 inches, 180 / 10 = 18 columns Therefore you require 12 * 18 tiles = 216 Answer 216 tiles
Q: If so, what do you clean it with? I have one in my kitchen I hate it! I‘m always cleaning it and we don‘t even wear shoes in the house but yet it always looks like it has blackheads! I have used the magic eraser to get the marks off but it‘s a p.i.t.a. :)
Is this ceramic tile or place-and-press linoleum tiles? The latter have a shine layer that can wear off, then the rest of the tiles act like a sponge for any bit of dirt that comes along; there are products to re-seal it if that is the case. For our textured ceramic tile floor we use lemon ammonia and hot water solution. The ammona cuts just about any kind of soil, including grease, and rinses clean. There are sealers you can apply to the grout lines with a small paintbrush to keep the grout (which is porous) from becoming stained and soiled.
Q: I have kitchen tiles that have long term stains like broth and sauce stains. They won't come out with standard tile cleaner. Should I used bleach or will something else work better?
have you tried perfume? dont ask me how I know this, but I know that it will lift sharpie markings off of almost anything!
