- You mean paper lanterns? There are online places that sell them, and as long as you use water colour paint it should be fine (don't use anything oil based).

- There is a switch up on the brake pedal. I would venture to guess that it is either broken or out of adjustment. When you find it jump a paperclip across the two terminals to see if the lights come on. If they do then it is time for a switch. If not then get a test light (like $5 at a parts store). Touch it from the power side to a good metal ground on the car and see if it lights. If so then you are getting power that far. Touch it across the two terminals and see if it still lights. If it doesn't then there is a broken wire, bad connection, etc between the switch and the lights.

- Yes they will and yes you can use LEDs. BUT.... different plants have different lighting requirements. They sell several different types of LEDs for plants, but for plants that would grow outside in full sun most growers would consider them inferior to more intense lighting, but they seem to offer good light output for wattage used and they can be had with different spectrum's designed to be more efficient than others. One brand that is popular is the 90watt. UFO design. They also have a 300 watt type. Depending on what your growing you might want to add supplemental lighting of a different type too.

- no window brake light on a '55 olds, this is a 1985 cutlass supreme it could be you have a ground issue, a short, bad bulbs, or likely a blown fuse. If it's none of these take it to a competent friend or mechanic and tell them to wire the tail lights from the 3rd brake light. This could be the easiest way to fix it rather than replace the entire tail light wiring

- The amount of light needed all depends on the room and whether there is enough light in the room. You don't need to have proffesional lighting gear to achieve the same efffects (great if you do!) If additional light is need you can you the flash for the camera or you can gring in other additional lights sources such as lamps. Using a digital camera is good as a you can preview what the photo looks like and if needed adjust the lighting and take the picture again.
