Q:Which hurts less, the piercing at the top of the ear, or the piercing from one side of the upper ear to the other? Thanks. =)
The first piercing of the scaffold will feel the same as getting your helix done. The second will hurt a bit more. The healing of a scaffold, however, will probably be more painful than just one helix piercing and will take a bit longer.
Q:I am currently taking early childhood care education as my college major. I am learning about ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development), and scaffolding the the development in early childhood. How would you explain, and define scaffolding
Scaffolding basically means being the support (a scaffold is a support) in the child's learning. A preschooler can do a range of things. He or she will have mastered some things already and there will also be things that are beyond what he or she can do. When playing with the preschooler, you want to make sure that what's going on falls in that range (zone of proximal development). Don't give him or her something that's too easy or too hard to do, but play games that make them think a little and use what he or she already knows to take it a bit further. I hope I'm not confusing you more. In one sentence..scaffolding is supporting the child in learning something new based on what they already can do or know.
Q:so yeah as it says above^should i just wait till it no longer hurts, or do you have to wait a certain amount of time...
well it depends because some bars are thicker than others, if your changing to a bar as thick as the one you have now then i say about a month is good but if its the slightest bit thicker i suggest you wait maybe 2 months and in the mean time make sure your turning it and wiggling it so after the 2 months go by you can change it to a thicker bar without it hurting
Q:Scaffold Piercing Aftercare?Ok, so I was looking into getting an industrial piercing. However, I am very very serious about the aftercare, and I would dread any infection or anything going wrong. So, I was wondering, what are some aftercare cleaning tecniques/methods? I already know that antibacterial soap is good, as is the H20 cleaning spray stuff. And that you are supposed to clean it twice a day. But how and when should I do this? I have school which I can clean it before I go in the morning, but I don't get back until four, and then I take a shower at night always. I know it sounds silly, but are there some tips you have? Thanks!
I've had my industrial for over two years, it's a great piercing but aftercare is important and it does take awhile for it to heal. Here was my schedule for my industrial and all of my piercings since then... When I got my industrial I was in school until about 4 pm as well (I'm no longer in school now so I do it a little differently now) so this schedule might be doable for you. I took showers in the morning but that's not a huge problem. I'd wake up in the morning and while showering I'd clean my piercing with antibacterial soap AFTER I washed my hair and did my other shower rituals. Then when I got out of the shower I would do a short sea salt soaks (sea salt soaks are going to be much better for your piercing than H2O). I'd mix non-iodized sea salt in a clean new dixie cup with warm water, then I'd bend over and let my ear soak in the water for about five minutes. Sea salt soaks are great because they help promote healing and prevent/clean up infections. Then I'd go to school and after school I'd do a simple little rinse with a saline solution (which you can buy at any grocery store, usually around the contact supplies). Saline is good for when you're in a rush and don't have time to do a sea salt soak. Then at night I'd do a long sea salt soak and I'd soak my ear for about 10-15 minutes. Now for you, since you shower at night I would clean my ear with antibacterial soap every night in the shower and do a long sea salt soak after my shower, before bed. Then in the morning I'd so a short little sea salt soak before school and after school you can use a saline solution or the H2O. Good luck! This worked for me with all 6 of my piercings.
Q:Okay, quick question. I dropped into a couple of piercing studios yesterday to inquire about getting a scaffold done. Both places informed me that it's not a good idea to have it pierced with a bar straight off, as the pressure from the jewellery combined with the swelling when first pierced can seriously slow down the healing rate. Is this true? The second place said they will pierce both holes with rings, and these can be changed to a bar after around 6 to 8 weeks. Is this the best option? Thanks for any replies.
yeah that is a better idea. it prevents the bar from getting ripped out, rejecting, and generally makes it less likely to get caught up in your hair while it's still sore.
Q:Latch type disc scaffolding accessories are national patent products?
Also called chrysanthemum disc scaffolding, scaffold system, disc scaffolding system, buckle disc scaffolding, layher frame (layer frame, Lei Ya frame, because the basic principle of the scaffold is by the German LAYHER (Lei Ya)'s invention, the industry has been called the "thunder sub frame"
Q:What are the main safety problems when dismantling the scaffold
3, the demolition of spare parts to be loaded into the container, with a crane hanging; the steel pipe to be tied to secure, double point lifting, prohibited from high altitude thrown.4, more than six wind (including level six) to stop the construction of mobile scaffolding.
Q:scaffolding piercing.. do they hurt? and how much are they in england? thanks x?
Yes they hurt but like all piercings if you look after them then it wont hurt for long. If you don't like pain don't get them. I can't tell you what they cost in England as you posted your question in the Australia section.
Q:What's an antonym for the word scaffold?
Since a scaffold is a bridge/ladder/support used to allow you to span the gap between you and and object you wish to reach, I'd go with barrier.
Q:What is the meaning of the scaffold when it is set up in the concrete structure of the permanent building
5.2.5 scaffolding engineering A. structural parts (1) structural parts selection and calculation basis
