- Q:i got my scaffold done quite a while ago and it still really hurts and is all lush and crusty,loli know it takes agessss to heal but could i take it out and put normall small earrings in each whole instead? Which would i have to use? thanks
- in my opinion you should ride it out and just clean it more often. not only will the piercings give you trouble if you try to change the earring now, the piercings themselves will move slightly and you won't be able to put an industrial bar back through it. if you can live with these go through with it, if not, wash often, rotate the bar constantly and avoid sleeping on it and getting your hair caught up in it. like you said, piercings in the cartilage are very sensitive and need time and nurturing so that they can heal properly.
- Q:what is the height of a scaffold if the person is 6ft tall?
- Whatever they set it at. It could be 1 foot, 4 feet, or 20 feet. How tall a person is, is irrelevant.
- Q:Scaffolding installation process, construction preparation
- Construction preparation(1): steel pipe should be consistent with current national standard "carbon structural steel" (GB/T700) regulations Q235- grade steel; new steel pipe should be the product quality certificate; steel surface should be flat and smooth, no cracks, scarring, delamination, dislocation, bend, burr, indentation and scratch depth, pipe diameter deviation not more than -0.5mm, the wall thickness deviation not greater than -0.5mm, cutting slope deviation not greater than 1.7mm, the steel surface should be brushed with antirust paint; old steel corrosion depth not greater than 0.5mm, more than the prescribed steel shall not be used.(2): buckle made of malleable iron fasteners, the material should be consistent with current national standard "steel pipe scaffolding fasteners" (GB15831) regulations; old buckle inspect before use, shall not have cracks, deformation, bolt appear smooth silk must be replaced; new and old fastener must brush good antirust paint.(3) foot board: the use of 4m long wooden foot board; foot width of not less than 200mm, the thickness is not less than 50mm, both ends should be set with a diameter of 4mm galvanized steel hoop two; rotten feet can not be used.(4) safety net, paint.(5) after the inspection and acceptance of the above parts have been classified and piled up in a neat and orderly manner, no water can be accumulated.2, scaffolding erection and removal(1) scaffold erection
- Q:A 67.0- painter is on a uniform 21- scaffold supported from above by ropes. There is a 3.8- pail of paint to one side. The ropes are 1m inside the scaffold on each side. The pail is 1m away from the left rope and 3m from the right rope. The scaffold is a 6m. How close to the right end can he approach safely? How close to the left end can he approach safely?
- First of all...no units, no answer. Second of all...according to OSHA (Occupation Safety and Health Administration), NO ONE can walk on a scaffold beam outside the support ropes OR SET ANY OBJECT DOWN outside the support ropes. Hence the answers for both questions are 1 meter. It doesn't matter what a calculation will yield...NO ONE can walk on the beam outside the support ropes safely. Even if a torque balance yields that it will not put the ropes in compression and buckle them...it still isn't considered to be safe by OSHA if the painter is outside the ropes.

- I wouldn't do that... it looks pretty trashy to me... just have the regular cartilege piercing
- Q:I want to get something pierced. My mom wont let me get anything on my face pierced but she will allow ear and body piercings. I thought about a belly ring but everyone has one amd i'm very skinny and scared it'd rip out. so i've been looking at ear piercings and really like a Targus piercing or a scaffold. But i don't know anything about them really. If you could which one is more painful, problems with them etc. please help, thank you

- I have two lobe piercings on both ears, two cartilage piercings and an industrial that i got five months ago. I was expecting my industrial to be very painful but it wasn't that bad (i have a high pain tolerance though) its a bearable pain. Like all other piercings the healing process is the worst part and still when i bump it (like when im doing my hair) it hurts like a B****! lol. And don't play with it alot when you first get it, it causes scar tissue bumps. Use H20cean spray or you can do 1/4 tsp of sea salt and 1 cup of water to help heal it. The healing time is long, 4 months to a year. I paid $65 dollars in the us idk how much that is UK. It was definitely worth it though! Go for it :)
