The smoke alarm works on the principle that infrared scatters in the smoke to probe the smoke which is generated by the incomplete combustion at the initial stage of the fire. It consists of photoelectric system, signal processing identification circuit and alarm circuit. The infrared scatters on the surface of the smoke when the smoke enters the darkroom of the detector, then the photoelectric diode receives the scattered light and generates the photoelectric signal current. The photoelectric signal generates the alarm signal after being processed by the identification circuit, accordingly the purpose of alarming is achieved. mini
- Q: I laid down my pavers beautifully, gave them some time to settle, and then swept the polymeric sand into the joints. I was very careful to get as much of the sand off the actual pavers as possible, but inevitably there was still a light dusty residue that couldn't be swept off. I misted the pavers as advised (4 times in 20 min increments), and when everything dried up, my pavers looked terrible! There is an obvious residue left on the pavers. We tried scrubbing with a wire brush, but that changed the texture of the pavers. I am hearing that vinegar and a regluar (less abrasive) brush might work? How about a power washer? Has anyone else gone through this beforeif so, please help!
- When you take off in a space shuttle, you have to be going insanely fast. And that speed generates a lot of heat. Have you ever seen a movie of something falling from really high and catching on fire? Anyway, the thermal blanket is a protective layer so that the people in the shuttle don't heat up and explode or something equally dreadful. What the article is saying is that a piece of the thermal blanket came loose, but luckily it wasn't in a really critical place (as mentioned above, the most vulnerable places to heat damage are the wings and nosecap). Hope I helped!
- Q: what's the stuff called inside a fire extinguisher?
- Yeah, for that money, you have lots of choices. If I had to have one rod and reel for both kinds of fishing, it would have to be a spinning combo. In fact for that money I could have an ultra light spinning combo and a medium to medium-heavy spinning outfit. Try the clearance section of Cabelas.
- Q: I have been working for mcdonalds for almost a year and I'm due for a raise like in two weekd and I was scheduled to work at 4 and I had been throwing up all afternoon and called out sick and the manager said if u don't come in today u can't work here anymore and I told her I'm puking how does she want me to go to work and she didn't care so I said I can't and she hung up and I got fired for that I've only missed like 5 days this whole year and I got a doctor note saying I went and had food posoning just to prove it I. Want to know if they are legally aloud to do that and if not is there any way I can sue them for that? And for how much
- So I came across some interesting literature that's saying a motorcycle helmet offers significant protection against head injury during a tornado a likely cause of fatalities during these storms. So, like the 0.01% of the population out there, I'm being proactive and shopping for cheap (but durable DOT) helmets on before storms hit this coming Saturday and Sunday. Should I go with Fuel or Vega?
- Q: I recently moved a TV to a room that has a smoke detector in it. The detector is about 5 feet directly above the TV. When the TV is on for a few hours the detetor will go off for 1 series then stop. There is no smoke or smells. I tryed changing the detectors batteries, but it still does it. Does the TV give off enough heat to cause it to go off? Should I be concerned? Thanks
- That distance is determined by municipalities. New York City just extended the distance which has led to more tickets. Mayor Bloomberg said it will help raise revenues and it has. It has also led to lots of people having their cars towed which is a major nuisance.
- Q: I have started making my own silicone molds and casting resin into them. The results are great but I waist so many containers. I use the plastic ones from the paint section at the hardware store, but $1.17 per container adds up. Anyone have suggestions? P.s. I am a beginner in casting so I use product that does not need to be weighed by a scale in different amounts, The products I use are blended equal parts so I use containers which are easy to determine I am actually measuring an equal amount by site. Maybe I should start using Solo cups?
- Unit is defective, and a fire hazard. Stop using it, and return to where you purchased the unit for further information. They will probably have you return it to the manufacturer.

- I had an 80s party last year I styled me and my friends outfits. I wore a bright sequence blue dress with leggings, bright electric blue eyeshadow, made my hair a frizzy poof and through it in a sloppy side ponytail. 80s is all about making a statement. Wrist and armbands, leggings, leg warmers, short shorts, ripped jeans, sweatsuits, sequence, hot pink, metallic, bright neon colors, clashing colors, those little rubber bracelets, too much makeup, big big poofy crazy hair! hope i gave you some ideas.
