The smoke alarm works on the principle that infrared scatters in the smoke to probe the smoke which is generated by the incomplete combustion at the initial stage of the fire. It consists of photoelectric system, signal processing identification circuit and alarm circuit. The infrared scatters on the surface of the smoke when the smoke enters the darkroom of the detector, then the photoelectric diode receives the scattered light and generates the photoelectric signal current. - Q: Hi All, Just seeking some advice for a project that I'm helping the kids I childmind with. They've been given a project for their school science fair that involves coming up with a model automatic fire sprinkler that releases about a cupful of water on to a small can of burning waste paper, placed in the centre of a cardboard box (representing a building). We've played around with several ideas (e.g. balloon stretched over the mouth of a water bottle full of water and suspended from the roof, and a closed plastic tube of water leading from a siphon, running along the roof). When we tried them, though, the water on the other side of the plastic / rubber stopped them from melting and the water just stayed put. If anyone has any suggestions, we'd all be really grateful - we've incinerated too many box houses already! Thanks so much for your time. x

Unless you want to use foundation or concealer, cover-up etc. Because of your red lips, you want to keep the rest almost colourless or you'll start to look clown-y. - You killed my two favorite activies while running. However, you could take a walking buddy - a friend, significant other, dog. Then you have someone to talk to instead of yourself. Try taking new routes. Sure its probably your neighborhood or something else you are familiar with, but take different routes to see different things and pass different people. Really observe the world around you. If you walk on the treadmil, you can read a book or magazine. Also, you could watch TV (what people do in the gym) or your favorite movie. All my other ideas seem to be thinking ones. I would suggest do nothing but relax, clear your head - its your time for you. But since you seem to be getting bored with walking, this may not be helpful
