The smoke alarm works on the principle that infrared scatters in the smoke to probe the smoke which is generated by the incomplete combustion at the initial stage of the fire. It consists of photoelectric system, signal processing identification circuit and alarm circuit. The infrared scatters on the surface of the smoke when the smoke enters the darkroom of the detector, then the photoelectric diode receives the scattered light and generates the photoelectric signal current. The photoelectric signal generates the alarm signal after being processed by the identification circuit, accordingly the purpose of alarming is achieved. mini

I'm planning on buying a sv650f this summer, it is my first road bike, but I've ridden dirt bikes all my life so i think I should be okay. Q: My alarm no longer works on my 2001 dodge Durango. I press the lock button on the key fob and the car locks, but it doesn't beep and I don't believe the alarm arms. Also when I press the panic button on the key fob, the alarm doesn't go off, which it should. Could this be a fuse issue? Or relay? However, very rarely, when I press the lock on the key fob the car will beep. Which makes me think it's a loose connection or a short? Q: Hi All, Just seeking some advice for a project that I'm helping the kids I childmind with. They've been given a project for their school science fair that involves coming up with a model automatic fire sprinkler that releases about a cupful of water on to a small can of burning waste paper, placed in the centre of a cardboard box (representing a building). We've played around with several ideas (e.g. balloon stretched over the mouth of a water bottle full of water and suspended from the roof, and a closed plastic tube of water leading from a siphon, running along the roof). When we tried them, though, the water on the other side of the plastic / rubber stopped them from melting and the water just stayed put. If anyone has any suggestions, we'd all be really grateful - we've incinerated too many box houses already!
