Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Fabric with Stainless Steel Wire Enhancing type is made of high temperature resistant and intensity 9 micron E glass filament texturized yarns with high quality stainless steel wire as enhancing material by special technique. The glass yarns are assembled and textured by passing through high pressure air jet machine into a soft yarn with outstanding insulation properties. These yarns are then intensely woven into a soft, durable and flexible fabric that can be readily treated or coated to further enhance its properties. Textured fiberglass fabric or cloth is available for supply without coating or treatment by Pasia. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are tough, durable and resist metal splash and welding spatter. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are capable of withstanding temperatures of 1000 for short periods and make functions as an ideal material for fire barriers and welding curtains.

Main capability:

It could be used under the temperature of 70-1000, also it could resists transient high temperature;

It resists ozone, oxygen, light seasoning and climate seasoning;

High intensity, high module, low shrinkage, non-heteromorphy;

When the temperature exceeds its working temperature, it still has lingering intensity.

Flame resistant, good ability of insulating heat and holding temperature;

High intensity;

Corrosion resistant;

Main application:

Fiberglass fabric of expanding-volume yarn has great capability and it is widely used in such fields as steel-iron, electric energy, metallurgy, chemical industry, environment protection, cement, etc. It is suitable to use as enhancing material with high request on mechanical capacity and for body protecting, e.g. generator system, soft joint of boiler and chimney, heat insulation of engine room, production of fireproofing curtain. This product is also used for system expiating of exhaust, air exchange, breathe, disposal of dust, exhaust gas; all kinds of coated basal fabric, temperature holding of boiler, pipeline knotting, etc.

Q: i spent all spring and summer travelling this year so my garden is feeling rather neglected and lonely. there are some veggies i know can stand cold temps and still make it. i live in north central texas so freezing temps wont be an issue for a few weeks yet. is there any time to get something in the ground? like what?
Not really. It takes at least a month for radishes, which is about the fastest crop. Just start working the soil by adding organic compounds, and if needed vermiculite, etc.
Q: Been growing micro greens for several months, and have tried vermiculite, potting soil, peat with vermiculite and now am trying jiffy peat pellets (too hard to plant in those small pellets, so even if they work I won't use them again) A friend bought Sure Grow mats but they are expensive and I doubt they can be used twice. The potting soil was the worst - cutting them or gently pulling, however I harvested them I got a clump of dirt in the ends that was difficult to wash off without washing the greens down the drain. Any cheap or free materials suggestions would be appreciated! thanks!
Mark T has it correct...I mix 1/3 vermiculite 1/3 perlite and 1/3 peat moss to start my seed in...If you ar3e running large areas you can buy this stuff in large bags at Home depot for 12.99 verses paying 3.99 for a small bag that is about 3 gallons... You get at least 20 of these small bags in in one large bag..lowes and ace does not have larger bags...That will be 80.00 buying in small bags verses paying 12.99 for the same amount..
Q: What is incubation vermiculite and how it is used?
There is no difference between incubation vermiculite and horticultural vermiculite, all of which belong to silicate minerals. Its role in incubation and horticultural farming:1, for turtle eggs hatch, with mud and sand is more convenient, safer and more effective.2, for the transport of turtles, moisturizing buffer effect, can improve the survival rate.3, planting medium, one of the main materials, and peat, perlite and other mixed use.4. Sowing mulch.
Q: I have a box turtle, and I want to change the substrate I use. WHat should I use? I want it to be pretty cheap because he loves to dig, so it has to be deep, and I have a TON of floor area to cover. Thanks!
This not a recommended practice as vermiculite can hold moisture. Installing another type of insulation instead of more vermiculite could be a problem. Modern vermiculite is less likely to have asbestos in any great quantity. The proper installation of this product is to install a vapor barrier first then the vermiculite. It might be worthwhile to remove the existing insulation and use a newer blow in product or batts of unbacked fiberglass.
Q: what should the water/vermiculite ratio be in the laying box?example: 3 parts vermiculite to 1 part waterand what should it be for the incubator?thanks
I'm not sure what went wrong here, but obviously you should start over. Slime indicates rotting from too much water. I always root my African Violet cuttings in African Violet soil. You can get it at Canadian Tire or Walmart. Sometimes I use rooting hormones and other times I have not. It doesn't seem to make much difference. It takes anywhere from 2 to 4 months to propagate them this way. I keep them in a window under a plastic cover until I see new growth. Just take the cover off once a day for an hour and then replace it to keep in heat and moisture.
Q: Turtle eggs hatch for vermiculite?
Ambient air humidity incubator Guimiao needed: 75% - 90%;
Q: how do earthworms help compost?
Hi: Verniculite is environmentally friendly and wonderful for your plant specimens. I have germinated thousands of seeds in a greenhouse and indoors. I always use a light weight potting soil - vermiculiate and humas, mixing them all together. Vermiculite is also present in a lot of different commercial fertilizers and other landscape and garden products. I would recommend using Vermiculite if you are planning on germinating seeds or even putting in the ground with your trees, shrubs, flowers or herbs. I hope this has helped some.
Q: I just bought m First House and I have a Possible asbestos vermiculite in the attic, I was going to try and have it removed but was told the price was 8-10K to do it, So I thought about encapsulating it with spray in foam insulation. Would this be a good idea or should I have it removed and then spray in foam. It just a idea at this point on a very tight budget.
spray in foam in many places has been done away with because it can be toxic any way it is not a good idea what you suggest I would simply cover it with cellulose blowe in insulation
Q: All I have is miracle grow and Ive seen cacuts growing out side here where I live but I would like an experts opinion..... Help Me Please
I incubate ALL my eggs in vermiculite and have never had any issues. Just make sure it is JUST vermiculite with no additives - I tell my Lowe's people what I'm using it for an STRESS to them that any additives in the vermiculite will kill my babies!
Q: I plan to plant it in clay soil. I hear they don't like clay soil as they prefer well drained soil. How can i improve the soil so i can plant it in as soon as possible?
