Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Fabric with Stainless Steel Wire Enhancing type is made of high temperature resistant and intensity 9 micron E glass filament texturized yarns with high quality stainless steel wire as enhancing material by special technique. The glass yarns are assembled and textured by passing through high pressure air jet machine into a soft yarn with outstanding insulation properties. These yarns are then intensely woven into a soft, durable and flexible fabric that can be readily treated or coated to further enhance its properties. Textured fiberglass fabric or cloth is available for supply without coating or treatment by Pasia. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are tough, durable and resist metal splash and welding spatter. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are capable of withstanding temperatures of 1000℃ for short periods and make functions as an ideal material for fire barriers and welding curtains.

- Q: How is it done? Cuttings? Tissue culture? I‘ve managed to keep quite a few alive and i‘d like to start making more. There must be a way to clone them because they have cultivars. ‘Thanks!!
- I have a friend that when she wants a new plant, she just strips one of the leaves from the plant. Then she sticks in the soil and it grows. She has done this many times. I have one on my desk that she did it to.
- Q: I can only think of salt! Is yeast a nutrient? Would it work? Thank-you!
- Nitrates Phosphates Potassium (so there is your famous NPK trio) magnesium (to prevent leaf yellowing) You would need (for example) an inert culture medium like vermiculite and a series of identical plants (eg cuttings, offsets etc) some you would water with all of the nutrients (in suitably dilute form) but miss out the nutrient you are investigating (e.g. nitrate) and some you would water with all the nutrients including the one you are investigating. By comparing the two groups you could get some idea of what the nutrient was used for. (If you deprive a plant of nitrates it generally remains stunted because the nitrate is needed for protein production which is in turn needed for growth). John
- Q: My front yard is very sunny, as is the eastern side of my back yard. I‘m planning a vegetable garden in the back. I‘ve planted a semi-dwarf cherry tree in the front, as well as a couple of blueberry bushes, and am planning a spot for roses. I‘m relatively sure it‘s a bad idea to plant strawberries near the acidic-soil loving blueberries. but can i plant them below either the cherry tree or the roses? if neither of those are a good idea, would they do best in the vegetable garden, or should i plant them with something else in the front yard? i‘ve got some room to play with in both areas. (and i live in planting zone 7b, if that helps)
- Straw berries are not fussy. But they spread pretty easy.
- Q: He hasn't eaten in a week or two, but he's not blocked at all because he pooped, and now, of coarse, he's not pooping any more because he hasn't eaten anything. Do you think the problem is one, because I took out his vermiculite, or, two, because i recently switched him from a 20 gallon to 30 gallon. And I don't really have the money right now to take it to a vet, so do you have any advice? His tail is still fat, but his body has been getting skinnier. Is something wrong?
- As it happens, SC is the largest produced of vermiculite in the US - and so there should be a great deal of case law on the subject. Count yourself lucky inasmuch as asbestos has not (yet) been found in SC ores. Check with your local county extension service and determine what your rights are. At the very least you should be protected from dust. Noise ordinances vary from location to location, check with your municipality on that. But, it is a sad fact that in many 'red' states, environmental regulation is minimal if at all - they consider themselves to be business friendly for the sake of 'jobs'. You may have to contact the EPA for any actual regulation on the actual mining process. Look up your local MSHA office in Columbia. They have a hotline.
- Q: How many methods of expansion of vermiculite?
- . The expansion of vermiculite was fine particle structure of thin laminations, filled with air, so they have low thermal conductivity, thermal expansion coefficient of vermiculite tears is generally 0.07-0.07w/m.k, under normal temperature condition (temperature range of 20-30 degrees) technology performance of thermal conductivity and particle size and bulk density of expanded vermiculite between. Product specifications. The refractoriness of expanded vermiculite is 1300-1350 degrees, and the safe service temperature is -30 ~ 1100 degrees. Swelling vermiculite, some moisture absorption rate is small, in the relative humidity of 100% in the environment, after 24 hours, the moisture absorption rate is generally not greater than 2%.
- Q: hey i need help, i just started to ready a small plot for vegetables in my garden, and i‘ve got weeds in several places. there‘s also a lot of stones in the garden. and when i keep trying to dig up the weeds with my fork, the weeds sometimes snap. and then i can‘t find the root. does anyone have any tips/advice on the best way to go about preparing my plot? i‘ve never gardened before.
- You can take newspaper and lay it down over the weeds. Place mulch on top. Then water it. The newspaper will kill the weeds and keep more from growing. The mulch is great to keep moisture in the ground for your plants.
- Q: I have everything but the vermiculite soil! Is there any other easy stratrgy?? If so plz share :)

- Q: I was preforming my science experiment which was what is the affect of electromagnetic fields on plant growth and now I find thes little tiny metallic pieces throughout the soil. DO you know what they might be?
- Soil is probably one of the most overlooked substances in the world that is crucial to our very existence. Healthy, nutrient-rich soil means healthy, nutrient-rich plants, animals, and humans. In turn, this means better air, water, and environment as a whole. Things to consider when evaluating soil include color, structure, and texture. Sometimes, depending on the region, the quality of these can vary in soils. One of the things people do to improve their soil is composting.
- Q: 2 Western Fence Lizards. One female, naturally. She doesn't seem to be showing any physical signs of being gravid--she's usually been just fat is all. I haven't felt any eggs under her belly, although she is getting a little more plump. However, I'm seeing some digging FAR more often than usual. And she's not trying to get in wherever she's digging. So I think she's trying to lay eggs. Whether or not they will come out OK is another story. What I have at the moment:Repti-Fresh sandZilla Jungle MixEverything else is accounted for. I have the right kind of box to put her in. Is plain sand okay for a lay box, or do I need something that holds moisture like vermiculite? I know you need that for the incubator, but I don't know much about the lay box.
- I used vermiculite for my ball pythons, as instructed by various local breeders. This substrate worked well for me (4 seasons). The only thing is I find vermiculite tends to stick to the hatchlings. I've been told that perlite doesn't have this effect. I know a breeder who produces Leo's, Cresteds, and Gargs. She uses SuperHatch. Apparently it changes color from brick red to pink as the moisture evaporates, and is infinitely reusable. Never used it or heard much else from said product, though. Whatever is available to you, I guess. I've heard good things about all three. Familiarize yourself with whatever substrate you choose. You should be good with any, realistically. Take care.
- Q: my friend gave me a fig tree last summer its not very big would it be ok to keep it in a large flower pot as we only have a small garden. what type of soil should i use and how will it fair with the British weather.Any advice please thank you.
- Technically rubber tree plants are figs. Ask Thompson Morgan, or Suttons for advice. They are two established British firms who know your area well.
