Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Fabric with Stainless Steel Wire Enhancing type is made of high temperature resistant and intensity 9 micron E glass filament texturized yarns with high quality stainless steel wire as enhancing material by special technique. The glass yarns are assembled and textured by passing through high pressure air jet machine into a soft yarn with outstanding insulation properties. These yarns are then intensely woven into a soft, durable and flexible fabric that can be readily treated or coated to further enhance its properties. Textured fiberglass fabric or cloth is available for supply without coating or treatment by Pasia. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are tough, durable and resist metal splash and welding spatter. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are capable of withstanding temperatures of 1000℃ for short periods and make functions as an ideal material for fire barriers and welding curtains.
Main capability:
It could be used under the temperature of 70-1000℃, also it could resists transient high temperature;
It resists ozone, oxygen, light seasoning and climate seasoning;
High intensity, high module, low shrinkage, non-heteromorphy;
When the temperature exceeds its working temperature, it still has lingering intensity.
Flame resistant, good ability of insulating heat and holding temperature;
High intensity;
Corrosion resistant;
Main application:
Fiberglass fabric of expanding-volume yarn has great capability and it is widely used in such fields as steel-iron, electric energy, metallurgy, chemical industry, environment protection, cement, etc. It is suitable to use as enhancing material with high request on mechanical capacity and for body protecting, e.g. generator system, soft joint of boiler and chimney, heat insulation of engine room, production of fireproofing curtain. This product is also used for system expiating of exhaust, air exchange, breathe, disposal of dust, exhaust gas; all kinds of coated basal fabric, temperature holding of boiler, pipeline knotting, etc.

- Q: Having some trouble finding peat moss and vermiculite. thank you in advance! :)
- Perlite is an amorphous volcanic glass that has a relatively high water content, typically formed by the hydration of obsidian. It occurs naturally and has the unusual property of greatly expanding when heated sufficiently. Vermiculite is a natural mineral that expands with the application of heat. The expansion process is called exfoliation and it is routinely accomplished in purpose-designed commercial furnaces. Vermiculite is formed by hydration of certain basaltic minerals. Large commercial vermiculite mines currently exist in South Africa, China, Brazil, the USA and several other countries.
- Q: what can I use for the incubator other than vermiculite?
- Having the area semi-level is good start. Directions say don't place on sand (Thinking they are talking about a full sand base) If you lay a 2-3 inch sand area over level dirt packed area it will help keep the liner from being torn from rocks while making it softer. Good luck.
- Q: My female leopard gecko is just a little over a year old now and this will be her third clutch. The first clutch was laid in the sand and they didnt survive and her second clutch was laid in vermiculite and 1 out 2 eggs is fertile. Now she has had eggs inside of her for over 3 weeks and will not lay them. She has stopped eating for the past 5 days and is constantly digging in the sand and vermiculite but will just not lay. The moisture of the vermiculite and the temperature of the tank if perfect as well so I don't know what could be wrong. If anyone could offer any advice or information as to whats going on or what I should do, please let me know. Thank you to everyone!

- Q: *read title*Please answer both questions.
- There is really no specific time of the year that dragons will mate. Healthy bearded dragons that are fed properly prior to breeding can breed any time of the year, except when they are brumating. As for the dig box, AKA laying box, good substrate can consist of a mixture of eco-earth and perilite or vermiculite. The consistency should be moist enough that it clumps together when squeezed without dripping. Place the mixture in a large rubber - made like container, 18 inches deep on one side and 12 inches deep on the other side. Place your gravid female in the laying box with a light and allow her to dig her deposit site. If she does not dig, place her back in her enclosure and wait for her to begin digging again, and then place her back in the laying box. She will dig herself a deposit zone and back herself into the laying area. After she has laid her eggs, allow her to cover the site back up. Once she has stopped covering the site, place her back in her enclosure, give her some water and offer her some food. That is basically all that you need to do with a dig box for your female. It isn't too hard to construct and females take to them rather easily. Their instincts will usually tell them what to do. I hope that I helped. Best of luck! (: -Kenzie
- Q: Which goes down first, top or potting soil?
- potting soil goes down first and then topsoil.
- Q: the home inspector said the insulation is vermiculite, which may (or may not) have asbestos in it. He said it would be fine to just seal off the attic. Is that ok? Removal would cost about $10,000 but I don't want to jeopardize our future health.
- i think u should seek another source for ur answer. i am sure that Yahoo! Answers does not support the use of any type of recreational and/or illegal drugs. therefore it would be best to try another source on the internet to resolve ur question.
- Q: i need to know what sort of material you would use to grow plants vegetatively.like in leaf layering or tip cutting.
- Vermiculite is generally used outdoors for moisture retention and soil conditioning. Perlite is best used in potting soils for houseplants. I don't believe either is appropriate for compost. Compost should be made up of organic matter only.
- Q: do mushrooms grow in poop?
- Mushrooms grow lots of places. It depends on what kind of mushrooms you mean. I have seen some Mushrooms the size of Watermelons! Some popular Mushrooms grow on Cow Manure.
- Q: Request for comments (Soilless medium)?
- Sounds okay. Not sure about items 2 and 3 but they don't sound like anything that would hurt. For not finding compost you have a lot of compost in there. I think your garden should grow great.
- Q: What are the characteristics of vermiculite and gold yellow expanded vermiculite?
- Widely used in building insulation equipment, household refrigeration, car muffler, noise insulation plaster, safe and cellar lining pipes, boilers, insulation clothing, refractory bricks, insulation cement and other fields.
