Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Fabric with Stainless Steel Wire Enhancing type is made of high temperature resistant and intensity 9 micron E glass filament texturized yarns with high quality stainless steel wire as enhancing material by special technique. The glass yarns are assembled and textured by passing through high pressure air jet machine into a soft yarn with outstanding insulation properties. These yarns are then intensely woven into a soft, durable and flexible fabric that can be readily treated or coated to further enhance its properties. Textured fiberglass fabric or cloth is available for supply without coating or treatment by Pasia. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are tough, durable and resist metal splash and welding spatter. Vermiculite coated glass fabrics are capable of withstanding temperatures of 1000℃ for short periods and make functions as an ideal material for fire barriers and welding curtains.
Main capability:
It could be used under the temperature of 70-1000℃, also it could resists transient high temperature;
It resists ozone, oxygen, light seasoning and climate seasoning;
High intensity, high module, low shrinkage, non-heteromorphy;
When the temperature exceeds its working temperature, it still has lingering intensity.
Flame resistant, good ability of insulating heat and holding temperature;
High intensity;
Corrosion resistant;
Main application:
Fiberglass fabric of expanding-volume yarn has great capability and it is widely used in such fields as steel-iron, electric energy, metallurgy, chemical industry, environment protection, cement, etc. It is suitable to use as enhancing material with high request on mechanical capacity and for body protecting, e.g. generator system, soft joint of boiler and chimney, heat insulation of engine room, production of fireproofing curtain. This product is also used for system expiating of exhaust, air exchange, breathe, disposal of dust, exhaust gas; all kinds of coated basal fabric, temperature holding of boiler, pipeline knotting, etc.

- Q: She is gravid but she is not close to laying her next clutch of eggs yet. I have an egg laying box with vermiculite in the vivermiam. Her poop had shiny stuff from the vermiculite and then white stuff on the poop has yellow spots on it. Can she be constipated if she at the vermiculite? But why is she not eating her shed skin? SHE USED TO EAT IT BEFOREI also got a 5-6 year old male who also does not eat his skin but i helpe him shed. Why doesnt he eat it as well?
- So long as she is shedding fine (there are no bits left on her face,vent or toes.) it's nothing to worry about. Some of my leopard geckos don't eat their shed. Or some leave some of it on the floor for me to clean up. - Q: My question is can I use presure treated lumber?? funds are limited so plastic is out of the question and im afraid untreated lumber will not last. beds need to be 4x8 and at least 3 feet high.
- Once again Sweet Pea is throwing money at a problem instead of reading the content of the question. While checking out the ft2 gardening book doesn't cost anything: peatmoss, humus vermiculite DO! Call local painters ask if you can have their scrap plastic from paint jobs. Or call your local United Way ask if they know of an agency that will help fund your project. My Grandfather used pressure treated oval 3X4X12's to border his garden hold down the plastic his garden was always amazing. Incidentally he got his plastic in the paint section of Big Lots! It was the most expensive of his garden props but he was elderly couldn't weed. Maybe you could contact local churches find if they could get their youth groups behind the effort? Untreated lumber will warp easier be at the mercy of the elements but it will at least last you 12 months. If you cant buy lumber you can always use rock to border with. A low rock wall would be even more durable but it would depend on availability in your area.
- Q: Asphalt expansion vermiculite process and material requirements
- Asphalt expanded vermiculite products are made of expanded vermiculite and hot asphalt by mixing, pouring, molding and pressing.
- Q: A couple of year ago I attended a Stone carving workshop. We made a mixture that consisted of plaster paris, cement and other ingrediants. This mixture was poured into a box and allowed to set. The end result was a soft stone that we then used for carving and making a small sculpture. I‘ve lost the recipe and wondered if anyone could give me one.
- for MTB, tire liners can be a good idea, Slime is OK but it does go bad after a while (see one of the other posts here) for Road, just accept that you will get flats and practice changing tubes so you will be quick when you need it
- Q: My Gecko has just laid an egg this morning and I knew she was pregnant but not when and we intended to go out today and buy some vermiculite but she has already laid 2 so we have put them in a tuba-wear container with sawdust that will be kept moist and also cling film over the top to hold in moisture, the container is under a spotlight in the geckos tank. Is sawdust ok or bad ?
- id say dont use sawdust,
- Q: i got a grass hopper it it a carnivore or a plant eater??? 10 points best answer and 5 stars
- The grass hopper is a plant eater. It feeds on grass not just hop on them like the name suggests. However that piece of information will not get you anywhere in keeping it for a pet. Honestly, you are the first person I heard of keeping grasshoppers for pets. I used to catch them when I was a kid and they don't survive outside their natural habitat. I have tried feeding them with grass but the poor things still die and they just couldn't adjust.
- Q: My beardie just layed her eggs but i dixnt touch till half aday later.friend with expirience told me to get a tupaware with verbalite and mpisten it and stick em in there. Room temp, and soild verbalite should work in hatching them. Can i get a 2nd opinion? Should i get an incubater for future hatchlings? Thank you everyone for your help
- The next time you post an answer, please use spell check. It will make it a lot easier for people to read and understand your question. The egg laying substrate you need is called vermiculite. Room temperature is not high enough for the eggs, the temp needs to be 82-84F and humidity levels must remain high. An incubator by far is needed if you plan on breeding any type of lizard. It takes the guess work out of doing it the homemade way. Never turn the eggs at all, always keep them in the position they were laid. Take a felt tip marker and mark the upside so you know how to always place them back if you need to move them. If you rotate them you will kill the embryo inside. Please google bearded dragon eggs before you end up killing your eggs. You should have done research before the mating attempt even took place. You are an irresponsible breeder, and an inexperienced one at that.
- Q: Im getting a rose hair tarantula soon and I just needa know Wich DRY substrate is perfect for that kind of species.Also I dont want a substrate that would grow mold and parasites. I dont want to deal with that :(Thank you.
- Go to Dennis Kirk web site. Many different brands and compounds are available. Choose your level of performance. Happy Trails!
- Q: How can I tell if the insulation in my house is dangerous (i.e. vermiculite)?
- Commiserations. I can only assume it is the soil or container rather than the poor plants at fault. Good luck with transplanting. Has anyone tried using growbags for tomatoes. I find them useless as there is not enough soil and when you water it the soil all runs away, althoughy inserting sawn off plastic botttles to pour the water into can help! I have started using hanging baskets with tomato plants especially suited for them like little Tumbling Tom and it is great for a sunny spot and you can sit and pick and munch!
- Q: can i incubate leopard gecko eggs without an incubator? what could i use besides vermiculite?
- its really EASY. all you have to do is put water in it when it runs out. it does not matter how much because its a water plant.
