FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: What is the tile diagonal
Wall and floor tiles between the two corners of the straight line, but also to evaluate the quality of one of the standards of wall and floor tiles.
Q: I am planning on tiling the backsplash area of my kitchen. I am using 6x6 ceramic porecelin tile (roman stone). The dimensions of the area is 17x60. When i went to scrape the original paint off of the wall I will be tiling, the first thin layer of the drywall came off with the paint. This layer is paper thin. I went to Home Depot and they told me to use Zissner 123 sealer. I put on two coats and the wall seems sealed pretty good. I will be using Mastic as my adhesive. Do you think that I will be ok tiling three tiles high (first tile is laying on the granite countertop) without using a backerboard. Will the drywall be able to hold the mastic/tile even though I ripped off a thin layer of drywall but sealed it with 123 sealer?
If you have it sealed w/ a primer( Zissner is fine) , you ll be fine. All mastic needs is a painted surface to adhere to. The use of backerboard isn t needed in this case , since its a non wet area. Using a mastic and a v notched trowel w/ some porcelains , watch that the back of the tile isnt indented so you get a good bond. Your plan of attack sounds fine ( 3 tiles high starting at the counter top.I like to use a smaller grout joint on some thing like this too (1/8 th or 3/16 ths) Any questions you can e mail me thru my avatar and check my qualifications GL
Q: ive never tiled anything before. i was thinking of replacing our old tiles around the fireplace and puttnig in slate ones. i am wondering if its a bigger project than it seems. will i have to remove the mantle to do it. is it harder to tile something on the wall or fireplace than the floor? should i just seek a professional or is it easy?thanks
I don't know about horrible but certainly impractical; unless the fireplace is merely decorative; or an electric one. TILE is usually fired at approx. 2000 degrees; essentially creating glass. It's highly unlikely you'd ever have a fireplace fire get that hot...Hopefully. The issue is more that constant stress on the tile in heating and cooling; and the effect on any mortar you choose. Beyond that is the issue of the tile being hidden most often; and the need to clean it often to be able to view it when no fire is present. Fireplaces are crafted using Brick, that allows no such effects from temp variations, and offers some level of insulation against the heat produced within the confines of the fireplace. Certainly you might consider tiling a hearth; or creating a hearth that you can tile; but it seems a bit defeating to tile into a fireplace. Tile; especially floor type; are created through different heat ranges and substances; to be graded in durability. Assume something like A being the least durable, and D being the most durable. That equates to normal traffic and wear. I'll assume someone will tell you; Sure; there are heat resistant tiles and mortars but I'll go back to my notion of the aesthetics and ask why bother? Q: When the stick on tiles have come loose you get ready to re-glue them. What exactly do you clean the cement under neath them or do you just scrape it clean?
Mineral spirits will dissolve most adhesives but sometimes you may need xylene or denatured alcohol. Using two sided tape, the good kind that is not cheap at home centers that is made for outdoor carpet for example should work better than most things to stick them down.
Q: help!! i need an estimate of ANY italian tile... like the cost per sq. ft. i really need it for a project!!! please make sure the tile works for the entire house (only inside) and light colored nothing dark plz and thank you =]
hello, this is how we compute it: for a 1600 sq. ft.:--- example: GIVEN .30mx .30m. ceramic tiles = 1ft. x 1ft. ceramic tiles price per tile: 1 dollar total area: 1600 sq. ft. plus 10% allowance (this is reserved for damaged tiles or any defects) 1600 x .10 = 160 - allowance 1600 + 160= 1760 sq. ft. size of material: 1ft. x 1ft. = 1 sq. ft. per tile number of tiles: (total area divided by size of material) 1760 sq. ft. / 1 sq. ft = 1760 pcs. of ceramic tiles price: 1760 pcs of ceramic tiles X 1 dollar = 1760 dollars i hope this helps. :)
Q: I just replaced the riser rail in our electric shower, but the fittings were slightly different, so now I have 2 bare holes in the tiles. Should I be concerned about moisture getting into the wall, and if so what‘s the best way to fill these holes? Would polyfilla be enough?
Polyfilla Caulk
Q: would it be to hard for me to do by myself and is there an adhesive that I put under the tile?

Q: what is vitrified tiles
Vitrified tile is a tile that has undergone a certain process that gives it extremely low porosity, and thus, very low water absorption. This makes the tile hard and strong, as well as stain resistant.
Q: To re-do the kitchen so to change the previous, but the tiles left on the traces of viscose, how to remove it? Is there any good way? First, thank you
Depending on the degree of adhesion on the tile, you can try to get rid of the following methods: 1. We usually use the wiping oil painted to evenly, slightly with nails to pull out the part of the first pull out, the rest of the wet towel to wipe off. 2. With a hair dryer blowing with plastic parts, the glue can be very easy to get off the bar. 3. Spray the oil spirits in the location of rubber marks, after a while a plastic mark that is out, may wish to try. 4. With alcohol + eraser can also be, although this method is more tired, but the effect is good. 5. You can take a piece of vinegar covered with a rag to cover the whole place of plastic marks, until the plastic sticky stains completely wet, you can use the ruler easily removed. 6. If you can, first with blisters, and then coated with a little detergent, and then look at the effect of old toothbrush brush. 7. with a cloth dip tip or Erguotou wipe will have a good effect. 8. With soap plus a little nitrogen and turpentine mixture, you can also remove the glue marks. 9. with a good sticky transparent glue repeatedly tear sticky sticky place, you can also remove some, so that glue marks no longer obvious. Coated with a little bit of sodium water and then rub, a wipe off, or paint thinner can also be used. 10. With a cotton swab dipped in nail polish or sesame oil wipe, glue marks can be removed. 11. Use a special cleaning agent or sports shoes to remove the ointment. 12. If it is left for a long time and has hardened traces, you can use a hot towel to cover it soft, and then try the above methods.
Q: Have a tiled half wall that I dont like, and as I neither know how to remove tiles or if how to drill through a tile can anyone help?
A bit for drilling concrete works well , also they make a spade bit that can be used for tile or glass, If it is a thick tile i would use a bit and a drill with the sds chuck as it won't slip. You can get the bits at Home Depot of just about any hardware/lumber supply store. the drill with the sds chuck can be rented if you do not have one.this is if you are trying to anchor something into the tiled wall. If you want to remove the tile, you are better to pull the tile and drywall off at the same time , if you try removing the tile alone it will damage the drywall and you'll have to float the whole thing or remove it anyway. Good Luck !
