- Q: What are the characteristics of disc scaffolding
- Disc scaffolding and scaffolding, for manufacturers, construction units, rental units refer to a scaffold, just two different names. The same scaffolding.
- Q: If you have two workers say standing on a scaffolding, their are downward forces from the weight of the workers along with the weight of the scaffold, and upward forces from tension suspending the scaffolding in place. The opposite forces add to zero and thus the scaffolding remains at rest.My question has to do with what would occur if more/less workers were on the scaffolding. It appears to me that the scaffolding would always remain at rest. Would there always be a ΣF=0 regardless of the amount of workers? As the decreases in weight from removing a worker would also cause the tension force to be weaker? And vice versa if there were more workers?I
- You are correct so long as the scaffolding is not allowed to move. I.e. the cables suspending it are locked and not unwinding from their spools as more workers get on. More weight added would necessarily increase the tension in this type of case. However, if, when another worker got on and the tension could not increase for what ever reason, a downward acceleration would take place that is proportional to the worker's weight. Hope that clears things up.
- Q: I am currently taking early childhood care education as my college major. I am learning about ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development), and scaffolding the the development in early childhood. How would you explain, and define scaffolding
- Maybe this will help: scaffolding is the support provided by adults working with a child to help promote and extend development of knowledge and skills. It can mean asking appropriate questions to help extend a child's thought process, or providing suitable activities to help a child learn through hands-on activities. Look it up in your textbook and read the definition and apply it to my explanation above for a deeper understanding, and don't be afraid to ask your instructor questions like this! That's what s/he is there for!
- Q: I know people have different pain thresholds. But I was wondering if it was more painful than a lobe piercing? It will be done with a needle and are they aloud to freeze it? Or is it not needed?
- Scaffold/Industrial piercings definately hurt more than a regular lobe piercings because it's in the cartilage area and its pierced at a larger gauge but the pain is bareable. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the worst pain) I would say an Industrial would be anywhere from a 4-6 depending on your pain threshold. Freezing it probably wouldn't be nessesssary. I got a 14g Industrial pierced on one ear and a 16g helix on the other both on the same day (the industrial was done first) and in my opinion the 16g helix hurt more. So it really depends on how well you tolerate pain
- Q: Latch type disc scaffolding accessories is a national patent product
- Disk lock scaffolding called socket type Pankou scaffold.
- Q: i was thinking of having it done. google it if you don't know what it looks like. but i can't handle pain too well, and as i've seen on youtube, its not nice lmfao, i know pain varies from person to person, but any ideas on how to like take your mind off it? im quite young and this is my first major piercing, i only have my lobes done twice;), and does anyone know a good place to find nice barbells once it's healed:)? thanks:)!aaand do you think this is a nice piece to put in once its healed?
- Actually getting it pierced isn't all that painful, it's the couple of weeks after that might hurt...but as long as it's looking after properly (cleaned every day) all should be good. Sleeping on it can be painful, so i would suggest you get the side pierced that you don't usually sleep on. As for taking your mind off it, maybe take someone in with you while you get it done? then you can either talk to them to distract you or just squeeze their hand...also try not to look at the needle as this could just scare you, don't worry too much though, it'll all be over and done with in a few seconds and the pain really isn't that bad. As well as making sure you clean it every day, it's also important to make sure you're not playing with/touching it all the time as this could lead to an infection, always make sure your hands are clean before touching it. That industrial bar looks really nice, i would aim on waiting a couple of months before putting it in though maybe even about 4-5 months. Overall i think you should defiantly get it pierced the look really nice, good luck!! :)
- Q: The basic form of external scaffolding
- Basic structureA bowl type steel tube scaffold is a multifunctional scaffold in our country with reference to foreign experience developed, its member nodes connected with bowl, because the bowl is fixed on the steel pipe, all components of the axial connection, good mechanical properties, which is reliable, consisting of the scaffold with good integrity, there is no fastener lost problem.
- Q: Rather than buy tensile steel rods to reinforce concrete I wonder whether I can effectively recycle scaffold tubes that are presently on my roof.
- Like molitor said, if someone wants your bike bad enough, there's hardly any way to stop them. However, theives are like roaches; they don't want to be seen and scurry away when they think they're found out. Anything you do to slow them down works in your favor because it urges them to move on to easier pickings. Incidently, every system has its weakness. How good is your chain? Just because a chain is big doesn't mean it's strong. Even cheap Chinese bolt cutters will cut through a really big cheap chain, soft bolt or cheap padlock. Go for the high quality chains used by truckers to bind down loads or the type designed for overhead hoists. They may not be as big as others, but they are really tough and will give bolt cutters a run for their money. If you have bolts anywhere on the chain, use grade 8 and a good, hardened lock.
- Q: I got an industrial/scaffold piercing a few months ago and currently have captive bead rings in (The piercer put those in after he pierced it). The piercings are now healed enough for me to change the piercing, and I found an industrial bar on ebay which I'd really like to order. Only problem is, it has two choices on the gauge thickness and length, and I don't know which mine is.The gauge sizes available are 1.2mm (16g) or 1.6mm (14g) , and the length options are 32mm, 35mm, 38mm.Does anyone know which would be the best to get? Thanks.
- as always, size does matter. the bigger, the better. go with the biggest size you can get. if they have it in extra huge, this is the size you want.
- Q: Compared to Pankou scaffolding and scaffolding have what distinction, what are the advantages
- 5, Pankou scaffold disassembly do very simple, a person needs only a hammer can do the installation and removal of the entire process. Construction efficiency greatly improved, two construction workers only 1 days to complete the construction site 350m3.
