Q: Hi everyone!Im having a problem with shift lock!simply stop working and the gear stuck at any position.to release the gear i have to press the shift lock button all the time.I've changed the whole part, worked well for around 2 months and stop working again!I put something inside to keep the shift unlocked, work this way of course, but no security at all if accidentally i touch and change the gear.does anybody know what is the problem? maybe eletrical?*sorry for my english, im not a native in english.: To shield their face. Q: I always was puzzled by the weird rituals canines performed around plastic fire hydrants.: Have the Vet check for peas its a term used for small amounts of dirt, and fluid that builds-up in the sheath. My Mothers's ShiTzu had the same problem, and it was bad enough he required surgery. Does he urinate ok? I'd take him to another Vet for a second opinion, maybe one who specializes in small dogs.

Q: Is there any way to lock a folder on my desktop with a code or hide it so that only someone who knows where it is can find it?: I use to get Quest pipe fittings from Lowes, but they don't carry it anymore. I would check with a mobile home dealer in your area. (note: I did my current house with Quest when I built it in 2004, and no leaks have been noticed. I used the more expensive mechanical type fittings rather than the crush on type.) If all else fails, there is copper water lines, but I recommend you use mechanical fittings rather than solder type fittings. If you use copper, you will not have problems unless they freeze up.

Q: Like the part that goes through, you knows. Like holds/locks it.: Did you clean the pipe and the fitting with a wire brush? did you put flux on both after cleaning it? if so you have to heat them both up with a torch until they are really hot. the solder will not take if they are not hot enough.. flux is very important also try that then leave the torch on the joint you want to solder for a bit longer then try again, if it is still happening, keep heating it and try again. evenually you will get it.. I use mapp gas, but propane works also for your torch mapp gas burns hotter and heats them up faster. oh. are these new pipe and fittings? if so try above, if they are old, you have to make sure ALL of the water is out of the lines, or it will take you a VERY VERY long time to heat them up enough to solder, because the water cools the joint and the pipe, it has to turn the water into steam then the pipe will eventually heat up

Q: hi i have a problem my 89 f150 has a broken leaf spring mount/shacklebut how do i remove it ITS STUDDED IN its a 1989 ford f150 thanks for looking please help me with this: Is it when you run the washer or when you run the dryer? If it's the washer, you have a leak. The hot water from the washer is warming up that stale, moldy, rotting water. Follow the pipes (both in and out) and try to find the leak. Hopefully it will be where two pipe fittings are screwed together - so you don't have to worry about soldering. Just turn the water off, unscrew the pipes (you'll need a couple of wrenches and some lube because it will be tight and probably rusted) and wrap plumber's tape (it's actually called that - you can go to a hardware store and ask them where they keep the plumber's tape and they'll show you) around the side that has the threads and then put it back together. If it's anywhere else, get a friend that's handy with a small blowtorch and solder to take care of it for you. :-D If it's the dryer, something died in your dryer vent. Tell some guy friend/husband that you just don't know why your dryer isn't working as well as it should - and can you check that metal thingy that goes out of the house to see if maybe it's clogged or something? *blink* *blink*
