Q: I was cruising at about 35-40 and slammed on the brakes when I saw that they put in a speed bump, but I still hit it way to hard and it scared me half to death. Now even with my crazy German suspension and such, is my suspension going to be ruined??? I definitely heard a bump so I think I must have hit the undercarriage of my car. But the damage is not visible
The 20 extra heavy pipe should be okay for 1440 psi but the Y60 fittings and Y65 Flange designations are not sufficient to say if they are adequate since those are material grades and not indicative of pressure rating without extra information. If the fitting thickness matches the pipe then they should be okay but the flanges would need to to ANSI 600 rating
Q: What is the argument against gay marriage?
Aqua PEX , Dura PEX , Aluma PEX and other Pex products works well in concrete , quit flexable and easy to work with in tight locations . Aqua PEX works very well with freeze situations and returns to normal size when warmed used in Hydronic systems (heating systems using heated water or glycol) and normal potable water systems Dura PEX will burst at about the same as copper works well in concrete , used in Hydronic systems and normal potable water systems Aluma PEX will burst at about the same as copper but can be shaped and holds the shape well used in normal potable water systems (I have very limited experiances with this one as I don't have the tooling ) There are brass or PVC fittings available , crimp rings , clamps or as in the Aqua PEX you can actually stretch (special tool) the pipe and it will shrink onto the fittings
Q: I'm a guy and need some damn good reliable clothes for work.so boots : any suggested sites to buy from (military (must be actual military! or safety boots brand?)Trousers need good work trousers tough and comfy! (not the crappy 'pretend style jeans')Shirts must be comfy and breathable t shirts the sort that do not shrink to x small (I am aprox L xL but xxl is good too)so brands and/or sites and please non of the 'lets pretend to make clothes and call it army/tough workmanclothes' you know the sorts, they are everwhere and get on my rugged hairy man **** .
She / ) which is worth looking at.
Q: How do you suppose a nearby (but not direct) lightning strike could damage the tuner in your TV, which was turned on? (i.e. Why is it a good idea to unplug TVs and computers when an electrical storm is very close?)
Look in the hardware store in the conduit section, they use these for 1/2in, 3/4, etc.
Q: If so, for who? Will you go door to door or make phone calls? Are you enthusiastic? I will be campaigning for Obama, this video gets me pumped! It is a true grassroots campaign!
Let them wear what they want as long as law enforcement can see their faces
Q: Hi There,I'm hoping someone may have some feedback on the following.I am trying to install a new door handle with lock for bathroom.Everything appears fine, door locks when it's ajar. However, onceI close the door and lock it, once I try and open it to see if it locks, it just flies open. The knob mechanism seems to be working, locking but I can just open the door without any problem if its in the door unit. why would this happen? Please tell me because I'm about to lose my mind. I've been working on this for over 3 hours. I bless you for your help.
Use of an extension cord in a permanent application as you describe it is a NEC (National Electric Code) violation. And not rated for the purpose. You may however, do the following: Install an extension ring (box) at the existing receptacle location. Run 1/2 PVC pipe to the new location.(you are talking 120 volts here, right?) Install a single gang FS box (weather proof pvc box) GFI receptacle and an in-use cover. Now you are in compliance with the NEC, and won't have to rework anything in the future if the house goes on the market. Please stay out of the Plumbing department when getting your PVC pipe and fittings. Plumbing pipe is rated 60 psi and electrical pipe is rated 90 deg Centigrade. They are NOT interchangeable. Not to mention you can't pull wire through a plumbing elbow, but you can pull through wire through an electrical 90 deg. fitting. I don't recommend trying to run UF (direct burial) cable in this application. Stick to individual conductors, 12 THHN will be fine for 20 amps. Hot, neutral and ground. If I missed something, if the tub needs 240 volts or more than 20 amps let me know. Bury the pipe 14' deep so that you have the 12 of cover required by code. If you use the correct/proper boxes and covers there will be no need to seal the pipe. If you take a picture of the existing wall outlet it will help the folks at your local building supply store to direct you to the right parts. OH, and are you sure the existing outdoor outlet circuit will handle this load? And if it is already GFI protected you won't need another one at the new box. Good luck.

Q: 1991 gmc jimmyok so when i hit a pothole or go over a speed bump the stuff in the back flies up in ther air and when i drive my other truck its so soft when i hit speed bumps.so i took it in and lesschwab said i dont need shocks but why does it hit so hard?and my stepdads car just started hitting hard like mine and he took it to the same leschwab and they said he didnt need um either i mean u can still bounce the truck but it just hits really hard.
There should be dielectric nipples at the heater , if not that can cause some problems (electrolysis) , if the well pump or pressure switch is shorting or passing a small amount to ground it can shorten the life of your pipes drastically . I have replaced some galv. pipe that didn't last very long (about 6-8 months) . The supply house had gotten a batch that was from Mexico they replaced the bad stuff and I had to eat the labor but I kept my customer happy . The China pipe is worse about the galv. coating being to thin or of ?? quality (it too doesn't last very long) I have seen the welded seams not welded . The cost of copper has gotten ridiculess and so I now use Aqua PEX or Dura PEX for most of my water lines. I suspect this plumber may have lost a customer over this as you are asking .
Q: I already have an airsoft gun. I just would like to be able to skirmish. They think it's really dangerous and I'm going to get shot in the eye through the paintball mask I have. It doesn't make sense but, you know how they are. Any ideas on how to prove to them I can handle it?
Don't know about California but it's been done for generations in Philly and New York as a way for city people to keep cool. blem is , of course, it lowers water pressure in the area and the fire department hates that..so there is a constant firemen turn 'em off people turn 'em on back and forth all summersometimes the cops get involved. Common sense has finally prevailed and the FD puts sprinkler heads on the hydrants.less water loss but still a way fro people to keep cool, especially in neighborhoods w/o public pools
Q: I work in a factory where we make bed covers for trucks and the glue that we use is manus bond. Ive used rubbing alcohol lots of lotion and soap with scrubby brushes but nothing is working. If anyone has any ideas please help me out thanks!
I've got the same things in the building I work in. There Hard wired smoke fire detectors. The red light tells you the system is active. The other smoke alarm on the ceiling is probably a backup in case the building looses power. NOTE: Carbon Monoxide is heavy. The detectors are usually located near the floor.
