- Color is one property of light. Light is a thing (like car) and color is a property (like fast). People confuse properties and things in physics a lot for some reason, but no one confuses fast with car, even though many cars are fast.

- Your question is too important to have answer via a net response. Get a neighbor or relative who has some knowledge of the exact bulbs to advise you. - Q:If I put a black light in my over head light.. Will it light up my whole room?
- Yeah usually the light will light up the room, but it is usually brighter the closer you are to the light... I mean it isn't like white light so while it'll hit those surfaces it'll basically be like its a night light.
- Q:what the characteristics of light received from stars? :/
- Roughly the same characteristics as light received from our sun, or even a light bulb. Light is the transmission of energy from a quantum energy packet called a photon. I would say that the light received from a star is really old, but a photon is not actually effected by time. The photon travels at the speed of light, and so would not experience time or be effected by it. The light we receive from stars is very coherent because of the long distance involved, the photons are exceedingly parallel.
