Ok lets say there is a couple The Lemons and they are buying a house and they have an agent named Sally who works for Mary's real estate company they find a house that they like make an offer that is accepted. However the house is being sold by Barry who works for a different real estate company then Mary and Sally work for. I know Barry and Sally would have to split the commission but does Mary get any money since Sally is her employee?
First attempt to discover any person you realize and believe. Whether they're a dealer, agent or legal professional. Just b/c they're such a 3 does no longer mechanically restrict them from being the proper individual for you. You have got to consider comfy with them. Keep in brain for the period of all of this, that they're running for you. If they aren't running however simply accumulating a paycheck, discover any person else. Everyone of the aforementioned men and women can and can make a big amount of cash should you select to paintings with them. Further, such a lot markets within the US have tilted toward the shoppers facet to a point. This approach you're now within the drivers seat. Everyone within the truly property enterprise demands shoppers. Best of good fortune. Joe...
Q: Who makes more annually? A car salesman or a real estate agent?
Depends on how good you are and how good the market is. Bad ones dont make it at either.
Q: Hey guys, I have a few questions about the real estate business. I am going to school to become a real estate agent and will be obtaining my license soon in the state of Maryland. My questions are: What is your annual salary as a real estate agent? How many houses do agents typically sell each year? How long did it take you do sell your first house after receiving your license. And what should i expect while in the field?I know most of my questions depends on the state which you are located in and the work that you put in, but id still like to know others experiences. -Thank guys
Real estate agents make between $23,195 - $108,227a year.
Q: I'm 21 years old and going to school to become a civil engineer. I am currently working for a engineering contractor company and have a lot of experience in the construction field.I've always loved real estate till the market got bad. I plan on getting my real estate sales associate license in January here in Miami, Florida by doing a 4 week course at a real estate school. Can I somehow tie the civil engineering to real estate career as well. Also if I get a job as a real estate sales associate would I have enough time to continue my schooling for my civil engineering degree?I am a people person and love to persuade people. I also believe I have a lot of wealthy contacts from working in the construction industry currently. Just want to get some feed back from you guys and see what you guys think. Thanks
The best path to take in this venture is: 1. Read books about real estate, specifically on the areas you want to concentrate on. 2. Try to get an internship, mentor, or work at a commercial RE brokerage and gain hands-on experience. Just a side tip, figure out where they are playing golf. Socialize and network. These are the top two priorities on your list if you're seriously wanting to learn what to do. Getting licenses is only the first step and classroom time is helpful only to a point.
Q: My father's interested in buying a house and have it rented out. He's saying it's a really good investment and we can really get a good sum of money from it. Could you give me any websites that talks about all the things related to investing in real estate? I'm curious at all these especially during these hard economic times and money is hard to come by.
Renting is never easy. Where I live there is a gang problem. Never take section 8 tenants, they usually cause endless problems, and damage. If you can't afford the house, without collecting rent for three months, don't do it. Eviction costs $500 and takes three months.
Q: Okay, so I'm a little weird but I LOVE spending free time browsing redfin . And I'm not even in the market for a home! Real estate just fascinates me BIG time. I'm a stay at home mom but when my young ones get into school full time, I'd love to find a job in real estate. With that said, I'm not a huge people person so dealing directly with buyers/sellers doesn't interest me. I'd like to do something a little more behind the scenes, on the technical side. Not really sure if there's a profession for that. Obviously i don't want to just do data entry (I have an unrelated Master's degree) so is there something that is very real estate oriented that doesn't involve talking to people on the phone all day and meeting up with people for showings?
So in other words you just want to live out your dream but not do any work related to the real estate industry. Yeah no there aren't any jobs that fit your description. I would have said real estate assistant but that requires answering the phone, dropping off and picking up keys, dealing with the website, contracts (IF licensed), etc. But no one will hire an assistant who won't answer phones and do data entry. You made it clear you don't want to be a real estate agent either. You can't work as a conveyancer because you don't want to do data entry and answer phones. Really, it's a fun idea but since you're unwilling to do anything related to the industry (our business is 80% dealing with people, even as assistants, conveyancers, etc), it kind of means you can't get any jobs in it.
Q: What is you Best Real Estate Investing Tip?You are more than welcome to post it on Your Creative Real Estate Investing
I would say the best tip is find a good qualified real estate agent who knows what they are doing. It is a tricky game, and you need someone who understands the investing side of real estate, and who can give you guidance. RE Agent, Remax
Q: Where do you work?Do you work on the computer at all?Who decides the prices for the house? How much training do you have to go through? What percent of profit do you get? What do you do about home security? How do yu find people who want to buy a house? How many hours do you work a day?How do you advertise? What type of school did you go to?How do you get your real estate license?
NYC All day Landlords 1 week to 1 month usually 25% - 50% of the fee (the total fee is 1 to 2 months rent on rentals, 4-6% of selling price) Home security? I am a real estate agent not a ADT representative! Internet, Craigslist, Word of mouth, referrals depends, anywhere from 0 - 15 hours a day. Q: In real estate what does the abbreviation o/p stand for? Im looking at details of a house im interested in and the saleing price is 104000 and on the bottom it says o/p 104000
FWALK - means a full basement with a walkout CCTFL - means concrete floor PFIN - means partially finished basement (FFIN would be fully finished) Attic: HATCH means there are no stairs to get there - most likely a hatchway in a bedroom closet. GRANITE means granite countertops, SKY is Skylight, and SLIDER most likely means a sliding door out the back, most likely to a deck or patio. OIL STEAM means the home uses home heating oil, and the old fashioned steam radiators - more common in pre 1940s homes. Cooling INDV means there are individual wall A/C units, and not central air.
