Electrolytic Manganese Metal Flakes

Properties:

Manganese is an important alloying agent. It is added to improve the strength, toughness, stiffness, hardness, wear resistance, and hardenability of steels. Together with aluminum and antimony, especially in the presence of copper, it forms highly ferromagnetic alloys. Manganese dioxide is used as a depolarizer in dry cells and as a decolorizing agent for glass that has been colored green due to iron impurities. The dioxide is also used in drying black paints and in the preparation of oxygen and chlorine. Manganese colors glass an amethyst color and is the coloring agent in natural amethyst. The permanganate is used as an oxidizing agent and is useful for qualitative analysis and in medicine. Manganese is an important trace element in nutrition, although exposure to the element is toxic in higher quantities.

Introduction

Electrolytic manganese metal flake is with silver gray metallic luster, hard and crisp, melting point 1245, boilling point 1962, with strong oxidation-reduction capacity. Specific gravity is 7.2. In comparison with metal manganese made by elctric warming, the electrogenerated mental manganese is of higher purity, superior quality and wider application.

Standard

YB/T 051--93

Application

Mainly used in steel-making, special steel-making, non-ferrous alloy (A-Mn alloy, Ti-Mn alloy, Mg-Mn alloy). It is also widely applied in chemical industry, electron undustry, medicine, aerospace, medicine. Also it is used in the high performance soft magnetization ferrite, high magnetic permeability ferrite, high saturated magnetic induction density low cost ferrite, high stable low cost ferrite.

Electrolytical manganese mainly used as an additive ,to increase the hardness , stiffness , and corrosion resistance  of metal alloy  applied to the field of steel smelting, non-ferrous alloy, Electronic Technology,chemical industry ,environmental protection ,space industry ,etc.

Q: Love all types of metal, name any please
Address: 7825 Olive Ave Lubbock, TX 79404 Phone: (806) 744-7091 Call 'em and ask yourself....not the entire English speaking world!
Q: BQ: What metal songs would you put on an Ultimate Metal Playlist?
Write them down - copy them... Writing them is the best way to remember...
Q: wanna listen some metal songs, recommend me some please

Q: is metal gear coming for wii. any metal gear (spin off, solid series, remake). will give best answer 2 anyone who gives me a link that confirms that metal gear is coming for wii
if the metals cannot be obtained by displacement reactions then u have to do it by electrolysis. this ensures that the metal is a lot purer than extracting it by heating its ore. it has to be pure in order to be used for a specific thing. the pure metal piece is made the cathode(negative electrode that attracts the positive cations) n the impure metal piece is made the anode(positive electrode that attracts the negative anions). metal ions leave the anode n go to the cathode. the anode in this way loses weight n in the end all the pure metal will be plated on the cathode. this means that the pure metal cathode has gained weight and its still pure. now what happens to the impurities? they fall to the bottom under the anode as sludge
Q: I was going to use baby oil to make the metal shiny.
Well, that would be hydrogen gas. When a metal reacts with water hydrogen is always produced. Also, depending on the reacting metal a hydroxide or an oxide is produced. When you look at the electrochemical series of metals then the first metals, the active ones (Li - Mg/Al), form a hydroxide when reacting with water. For example: 2Na + 2H2O -> 2NaOH + H2. Metals from Mn to Fe form an oxide (when heated - water must be in a vapourised state). For example: Zn + H2O -> ZnO + H2. Metals starting from Ni don't react with water. I wrote Mg/Al when talking about active metals because normally the surface of aluminium is protected by its oxide and therefore the reaction doesn't take place very easily. However, if the oxide is removed then aluminium and water react very well and produce a hydroxide. I hope that helps! Have a nice day!
Q: A friend of mine got me interested in checking out the Metal Gear video game series. I know that the PlayStation games start out with the first Metal Gear Solid game, and before that, there were two Metal Gear games for the NES. Unfortunately, I don't have an NES system, but I am really interested in checking the games out. So, my question is, is it really necessary to play the NES Metal Gear games in order to start on Metal Gear Solid? Does playing Metal Gear give you any understanding of the series needed for playing the first Metal Gear Solid game?
The primary reason for coating one metal with another is corrosion resistance. You might also do it for decoration, or to provide a wear or bearing surface, or to make a good electrical contact. Many things (tools, automotive parts, etc) are plated with copper and then nickel and then often chromium, to give them both corrosion resistance and a nice shiny chrome finish. The chromium gives an attractive bluish tint to the part, but it's the nickel that is the heavy layer giving you the mirror-like surface and most of the protection. Outdoor steel is often coated with zinc, called galvanization, either by electroplating or by dipping the steel into molten zinc. The zinc corrodes sacrificially to the steel it is protecting. Many things are gold plated for decorative purposes, to prevent oxidation, to improve electrical conductivity, or all of the above. You often see gold plated electrical connectors on high-end audio gear.
Q: Rock on and Gloria al Metal
I do not respect a genre of music. Respect is a weird question too, in regards to music. I like a lot of music that I may not necessarily respect. To respect music I suppose you have to either respect their musical skills, their vocals or their song writing. Yet some music doesn't try to have great musical skills, or vocals or song writing. But I can still lke and enjoy this music. Perhaps put it this way, I respect Meshuggah but I don't like their music. I respect some metal bands and don't others. Respect is earned NOT given.
Q: I've been researching facts about metal reactivity for my homework, but can't seem to find any simple, straightforward information, but rather more complicated information. Can anyone provide any simple facts about reactivity of metals?
1.33 Ref means 1 Refined Metal and 1 Reclaimed metal. It's this way because 3 reclaimed = 1 refined, and 1/3 is .33. The .33 is the reclaimed metal, the 1 is the refined metal. 1.66 ref would mean 1 refined and 2 reclaimed. Hope this helps.
Q: Can you give some names of some Ferrous Metals? Thanks =)
Metals have 1-3 electrons in the outer shell of each atom. Non metals usually have 4-8 electrons in their outer shell.
Q: Rock - all that isn't defined as metal
