Q: Why people cannot park near a fire hydrant?: Have you tried Teflon Tape? Or perhaps Denzo?

Q: Can I have your opinion on:?: Wear a helmet, you need it for safety anyways. Wear a medical mask (like the one they use in hospitals). It will protect insects from getting in your nose and mouth as well as protect you from smog if you are riding on the street. I am not sure what you can do about the ears but hopefully the helmet will help a little. I wear glasses so I would recommend sports glasses if possible.

Thanks for your help!: Without knwing how old the pump is, I would guess the bearings in the pump or pump motor are starting to wear. As they wear, they will vibrate. If there are grease fittings, add a pump of grease from a grease gun. DO NOT OVER GREASE, this is onl a temporary fix. Once the bearings start to wear, they are finished and will get worse. Sorry I have no good news.

Q: what should you immediately do when the gas hose catches on fire? details: Finding the right sized bulk heads is a pain. I know this isn't the best answer there is though what I had to do was take a piece of paper, set it against the hole, shade with pencil so you have the exact size of the hole and go to a saltwater specialty shop and match up the proper bulk heads. A little secret, most people just get pvc pipe fittings with some neoprene on the inside tank side and tighten these. I personally have bulkheads on most of my tanks though I'm drilling a lot more of them soon and I'm just going to go w/ pvc fittings tightened against the glass with some neoprene or other washer type material on the inside.

Sensor? fuse? please help.: If you have a good fall on the water supply I would suggest you use a closed pipe. Start with a large diameter, reducing as the pipe drops from the supply weir. Remember that the pressure neat the top of the pipe will be small when compared with the pressure at the turbine end, so ensure that the pipe and fittings are graded in strength with this in mind. You may wish to reinforce the pipe with and outer sheath of reinforced concrete, this will allow the use of cheaper pipes but has the added cost of the concrete. Good luck with the project.
