Q: How long after taking iron supplements should see you see health improvement especially energy wise.Thanks.
This depends on how depleted your bodily iron stores have been when starting the therapy. Usually it takes 3-6 weeks to significantly feel the change. Often iron therapies last for up to 12 months. Please never take iron supplements without medical advice. Iron supplements are only healthy if you have too little iron in your blood. Iron overdosing is toxic and harmful. Regular checks by your doctor are necessary and the cause of iron deficiency should be clear. Unfortunately, you did not provide why you receive iron supplements.
Q: Hi!How would you prepare Iron Pyrites, a.k.a Iron Sulphide, Fool‘s Gold, FeS2, in the lab???
Iron disulfide (FeS2) is prepared in the lab by heating powdered Iron with Sulfur. The resulting compound is not the mineral Iron pyrite. Iron pyrite is the cubic crystalline form of this compound. It requires special conditions of cooling and pressure for Iron disulfide to form Iron pyrite. Because the natural mineral is very inexpensive and abundant, artificial methods of production are usually not attempted.
Q: I‘m rather stuck on this question:What mass of iron(II) sulfate would be needed to provide 28 grams of iron?I know that the mass of one mole of iron(II) sulfate is 152g, but I‘m not entirely certain of the question. All posts are appreciated!
Iron (II) Sulfate formula is FeSO4 That is 1--Iron,1-Sulfur,4-Oxygen Atomic weights are Fe-56 S-32 O-16 (4 O- 64) Add them up and you get 152 thats why one mole weighs 152 grams So one mole of Iron(II) Sulfate has 56 grams of Iron in it. To get 28 grams of Iron would be one half mole or 76 grams of Iron (II) Sulfate. Make Sense ?
Q: i was looking over the internet for iron on website they said to buy set?? what does that mean , i will pay 399 for example and i will get iron 6,7,8,9 ???? or sth. the thing is i just want to buy iron 7 , but cant seem to find it ?please help me
Almost all irons are sold in sets of 5 irons (usually 3-5-7-9-PW) beginners really cheap sets to 9 irons (usually 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-PW) If you are trying to replace a certain iron such as the #7 iron, You might try contacting the manufacturer of the club! Then there's no sure thing that they will sell a separate iron. It could depend on what brand and/or the quality and expensive of the set?
Q: sedu ionic flat iron or the instyler?
Everyone will say the CHI but my sister got this straightener on sale for 29.99$ at the JcPenney Salon and I feel that it gets a lot hotter and releases more steam so your hair is silkier :) And I don't have to straighten every day with the Protouch or clamp it really hard on my hair. Trust me I have the CHI and I choose to use the Protouch whenever I can (: It has control temp settings, unlike my Chi ):
Q: I just ate 3 flinstone vitamins (chewable) and then read on the package that they contain iron and no child or adult should eat more than 1 per day so will I be ok? Each vitamin has 15mg of iron. I also ate a huge piece of chicken and had cinnamon on my toast (cinnamon contains iron) earlier today. I‘m female, 28, 150lbs. Is it ok??
my mom has to much iron in her body, its called hemocromatosis, I dought that what you ate ws to much iron, but if you start to loose hair, (which is one of the symptoms) Then I suggest you go get a blood test at the hospital, but I dought you have to much iron.
Q: Iron can form two different ionic compounds with oxygen-- Fe2O3 and FeO.I don‘t understand how this happens! Thanks!
it forms more than two, it can also make Fe3O4, and also oxyhydroxides like FeO(OH) and Fe(OH)3. The reason is that iron has three commonly possible oxidation statesiron with zero charge (iron metal), iron with a 2+ charge (as in FeO) and iron with a 3+ charge, as in Fe2O3. In the right chemical conditions, some of the iron can be in the 2+ state, and other iron in the 3+ state, which is how you get Fe3O4. iron can be stable at either 2+ of 3+, depending upon how oxidizing the system is. When there is a lot of stuff that wants electrons, like oxygen, iron is mostly 3+. when there is only stuff that wants electrons about the same as iron, it is in the 2+ state. When there is not much of anything competing for electrons, iron forms iron metal (Fe)
Q: I know it‘s possible, but my question is whether or not there is an actual difference between meteorite iron and regular iron? Would it be stronger? Would it have a darker tint? Would it be heavier or lighter?
Meteoritic iron would also have nickel and other metals, so the iron would be an alloy of stores. An alloy is stronger than just iron. Also, meteoritic iron would be lying around on the surface of the ground, it wouldn't have to be mined.
