Q: Where can I find an Iron bo staff?
As the others have said, that would negate the usefulness of the weapon. I have seen a staff that had the ends inlaid and capped with some steel, but it wasn't that much, and it did add some significant weight.
Q: what would happen if u didn‘t have enough iron?would your periods stop or would they just be really heavy?what would happen if u had too much iron?
Iron doesn't effect your period directly, but it DOES help to prevent anemia (low blood-iron). When you have really heavy periods, it is recommended that you take an iron supplement to help stave off this possibility. The effects of iron deficiency vary from mild to severe, with the number one complaint being fatigue, tiredness, lethargy, lightheadedness/dizziness, and fainting. The other extreme - too much iron in the blood - can lead to diabetes, arthritis, heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, and even liver cancer
Q: What are some foods with iron?
Following is a list of foods that provide 8 mg or more of iron per 100 gms of the food. Cereals Grains: Bajra, Rice flakes Pulses Beans: Cow pea, Lobia (black-eye beans), Lentils, Soyabean Vegetables: Beetroot greens, Mint, Parsley, Turnip greens Spices: Turmeric (Haldi) Fruits: Dried dates, Watermelon, Raisins Fish and Red meats Iron in Animal Sources : Heme Iron Beef Liver, Chicken Liver, Clams, Mussels, Oysters, Pork Liver, Sardines, Shrimp and Turkey are good in iron content
Q: Water that has trickled through copper bearing ore will have the characteristic color of copper solutions. One method used to recover the copper dissolved in such streams is to place scrap iron in wide shallow sections of the stream. See if you can design an experiment to recover the remaining copper left in the copper chloride solution from this experiment.I don‘t understand this. Why is scrap iron used. How and what experiment am I supposed to come up with
Iron is more reactive than copper, so it will displace copper from solution. (The iron dissolves into the solution, and the copper precipitates out.) You could try plain steel wool (without built-in soap) as a source of the iron for this experiment. It has lots of surface area, so the iron will react more quickly than, say, the iron in a nail.
Q: How can ductile iron pipes be connected to steel tubes?
But pay attention, because ductile iron pipe material is crisp, and the two connecting flange sealing surface is best all the plane, in order to prevent the uneven force and damage to cast iron flange.
Q: MOst of the iron medicines given to mostly pregnant women prescribd by the doctors are attracted by magnets. it means it contains elements of iron. How human body will digest these medicines. vegetables and fruits also have components of iron which are useful sources of iron for balanced diet. these vegetables or fruits are not attracted by magnetsa so r easily digestible.
Iron is the quintessential example of an element that is attracted by magnets -- in other words, it is the best example of a ferromagnetic material. Iron-containing tablets are attracted by magnets simply because they do contain iron. Iron is considered an essential nutrient for most living organisms, because it is involved in respiratory processes involving oxygen transport. Pregnant women need extra iron for the nourishment of the fetus. Non-pregnant women of childbearing age require typically about three time as much iron as do males, because of their menstrual periods. Typically, only a small fraction of the iron in tablets is absorbed. The daily iron requirement is 1.5 mg per day for a male, 4.5 mg per day for a woman of childbearing age. We typically do not digest iron -- we absorb some of the iron made available through ingestion of iron tablets or iron contained in foods.
Q: i have iron deficiency anemia but my body rejects any kinda of iron! why is it doing this?? it‘s been going on for at least two years.
see a doctor right away!
Q: I need a under 20$ flat iron. Any good ones?
I hear remington flat irons are passable. No matter what though, anything for that price can't be good for your hair. Just check out the reviews and look for something that's ceramic/tourmaline. Metal plates horrible. Don't get anything that says nano-ceramic, because that means there is very little ceramic used. Something you can do is wait until a good flat iron is on sale/clearance instead of killing your hair quicker with a cheap tool.
Q: I know it‘s possible, but my question is whether or not there is an actual difference between meteorite iron and regular iron? Would it be stronger? Would it have a darker tint? Would it be heavier or lighter?
Meteoritic iron would also have nickel and other metals, so the iron would be an alloy of stores. An alloy is stronger than just iron. Also, meteoritic iron would be lying around on the surface of the ground, it wouldn't have to be mined.
