- No don't unless if you need to flat iron your hair everyday make sure use oil on the hair first so you don't do so much damage to the hair. I know flat iron that are small and not so thick do work well. To avoid flat ironing your hair every day a good tip is wrap your actual hair at night then when you wake up you can unwrap your hair and still have nice hair for the day.
