5.FAQ:
We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:
1.Q: Why would you choose ductile iron pipe rather than other pipe materials?
A:The reasons are obvious for that not only ductile iron pipe possesses the inherent strength and flexibility of ductile iron, combined with proven corrosion protection systems, but also the cost savings can be achieved from design to installation and commissioning.
2.Q:Why can you guarantee the inner of pipes can’t be corroded?
A: High alumina cement mortar lining and sulphate-resistant cement mortar lining. These two special linings are applicable to inner anti-corrosion for sewage pipes, improving resistance to erosion of the sewage components.
- Q: My iron has settings 1-9 which one would be the polyester setting?
- I'd go low, 1 or 2. Either that or use a press cloth. That way the iron isn't in direct contact with the cloth. A thin piece of cotton is a good choice.
- Q: I seem to always be low in iron when I have lab work done. What kinds of food are good in Iron?
- Iron deficiency (or sideropenia) is the most common known form of nutritional deficiency.Iron deficiency can have serious health consequences that diet may not be able to quickly correct, and iron supplementation is often necessary if the iron deficiency has become symptomatic. However, mild iron deficiency can be corrected, and prevented, by eating iron-rich foods. Because iron is an absolute requirement for most of the earth's plants and animals, a wide range of food can provide iron. However, these foods are absorbed and processed differently by the body.Because iron from plant sources is less easily absorbed than the heme-bound iron of animal sources, vegetarians and vegans should have a somewhat higher total daily iron intake than those who eat meat, fish or poultry.Legumes and dark-green leafy vegetables like spinach are especially good sources of iron for vegetarians and vegans. Iron from nonheme sources is more readily absorbed if consumed with foods that contain either heme-bound iron or vitamin C.
- Q: Rowenta doesn‘t any longer seem to be reliable. Believe it or not I am halfway thinking of a mid-level to top notch Panasonic iron. Panasonic seems to be building them right. The other names if you look at the reviews and the customer service, its nothing to write home to mom about. I would be interested if you can recommend a brand either you or someone close to you have had and the iron doesn‘t leak, short out and doesn‘t become the cool iron after a few months. Thanks.
- I'm not sure there are so much better and worse irons. I used to think rowenta's were great, but they are very expensive, rather chunky and heavy and to me, don't seem to out perform other irons. For me, the best iron is the least expensive iron that meets my needs. I tend to space out that the iron is on, so I want an iron that turns itself off. I want one that has a range of settings including steam, and it's helpful, but not necessary, that it spritz water. I mostly only use irons for sewing and have owned a number, usually more than one at a time and currently own three. The things that happen to my irons is they get dropped, they get used by other folks on inappropriate things or using bad settings and spoiling them or they get so minerally or the finish wears off the face that I don't want to use them any more. It's mostly death by dropping, repeatedly though. I've never ever had a problem with them shorting, leaking or not getting hot. Iron technolody is just not that complicated, and with using distilled water (a must for with my minerally water) my irons can last for decades, despite almost abusive use when I am sewing a lot. Reviews on irons? Please. They get hot. You press things. It's not rocket science. I even have an antique cast iron iron that sits on my woodstove that I could use in a pinch, if I had to. I suggest whatever they have at Costo or Sears. Both of those stores have good return policies, so if you seem to get a lemon, you can return it. I have purchased irons at garage sales for a buck that became my favorites.
- Q: not iron, I know iron is magnetic, but is IRON HYDROXIDE!?!?
- Iron hydroxide is not magnetic. Once the outer orbitals are bonded there are no free orbitals for the electrons to flow.
- Q: The iron in harvest blend honey frosted corn wheat flakes with rolled oats granola clusters?
- Iron is used in many processes in the body but usually the one you hear most about is that it is needed to build red blood cells which are used to carry oxygen.
- Q: 1. Can they use rusted iron (since it is in the water)2. How does the iron keep from sinking since they live at the surface
- Phytoplankton require a variety of essential nutrients, including iron, to fix carbon dioxide and fuel ocean food webs, but the oxidized form of iron, Fe(III), that prevails in the ocean is only sparingly soluble in oxygenated seawater. The solubility of iron is enhanced through chelation with organic ligands, and nearly all of the dissolved iron in seawater is bound to natural ligands. More details in link.
- Q: can iron oxide be reduced in molten form?please dont explain me how they do in blast furnace.its not what i am asking.simply if you have iron oxide powder and carbon powder which is from coal,if you mix them and melt in graphite crucible, does it reduce?no air blowing nothing.air free.melted with carbon powder.does it reduce?thank you
- The short answer is yes but the real answer is it depends. You are talking about melting iron oxide so which iron oxide do you have? There are 3 and the melting points are different. Then you need to look at the atmosphere, the stability of iron oxides as f(temp) depends on the oxygen, CO, CO2, hydrogen partial pressures (and the presence of any other reducing gases). Of course if you do reduce the oxide to iron metal, it will react with the graphite crucible to form Fe3C, iron carbide, or, depending on the atmosphere and temperature, maybe cast iron. Consult your friendly neighborhood extractive steel metallurgist.
- Q: I am anemic and i was wondering what is the fastest way to increase my iron and how?
- For fastest results I suggest all natural Iron Plus C Complex. A young friend of mine during the latter part of her pregnancy had very low iron. She ordered the Iron Plus C Complex and she started to see the difference right away in the form of more energy. At her next drs. appointment her iron was just fine and she continues to use the product since she tends to have a problem in general with her iron level. C is added for better iron absorption. Also, the iron used in this product is from plants and does not cause constipation. Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or if you would like to know the brand I'm referring to.
- Q: Can you straighten up permed hair with an iron? Is it damaging?Jessie xx
- like you mean a clothes iron? or like a flat iron for hair? cuz either way its gonna be damaging. anything you do to your hair is damaging. but a little secret. if you have permed hair and want it straight and dont have a hair straightener. u can use an iron. i wouldnt recommend it. because it can be more damaging then a regular hair straightener but if u decide to use it. go to a beauty supplies store. or a salon and pick up a shine spray. itll keep the hair somewhat protected and will also make it shiny. just when using shine spray DO NOT use near scalp area because your hair will look like a grease pit. good luck hun.
- Q: i am a vegetarian, so i dont eat meat, but i have anemia and i was wondering if there is a certain type of food that has a lot of iron that isnt meat.
- Green leafy vegetables like callaloo, collards, kale, and chard, are high in Iron, sea vegetables, grains like amaranth, quinoa, and teff, as well as vegetables like garbanzo beans. Spinach is not good in large amounts because it interferes with iron absorption. Soy is a source of iron, but it's not easily assimilated by the body unless it's fermented like Miso or tempeh. Best wishes, By the way --dr.beth--beets are tricky because they do not distinguish between nutrients in the soil and poisons. They are the fastest vegetable in pulling matter from the soil, but if the soil is full of poisons, yep, you guessed it!! I was not a happy camper when I found that one out, lol.
