Q:i just got it like 3 days ago and its no signs of infection and im just worried it might get that way. ive been reading online about people who got infections and people who had all this crap happen. what do i need to do to stop one from coming i mean i use contact solution and cotton swabs wipe it down with wet ones and clean it when i sweat and turn it twice a day.. im always careful about keeping it clean im a neat clean freak but is there anything else i can do to stop infection from coming: go to safepiercing.org for proper aftercare and what to avoid. if you use store bought saline, make sure it is additive free, but, the sea salt soaks on the above site works much better. also, stop turning it. it disrupts the newly forming skin which prolongs healing and makes you more prone to infection. turning the earring is something that comes from the old way of ear piercing (with a gun). it does not apply to any other piercings, and, we know now that it's not good for any piercing. the 'gun piercers' aren't real piercers and don't know anything about it also, it takes up to a year to heal

Q:Im a wimp for pain and im looking to get my scaffolding done. i want to know how painful it isI already have both lobs pierced and stretched to an 8mm, will the pain be similar to that?: Depends on your pain tolerance, it's different for everyone. But generally cartilage piercings feel nothing like getting piercings stretched.

Q:If you have two workers say standing on a scaffolding, their are downward forces from the weight of the workers along with the weight of the scaffold, and upward forces from tension suspending the scaffolding in place. The opposite forces add to zero and thus the scaffolding remains at rest.My question has to do with what would occur if more/less workers were on the scaffolding. It appears to me that the scaffolding would always remain at rest. Would there always be a ΣF=0 regardless of the amount of workers? As the decreases in weight from removing a worker would also cause the tension force to be weaker? And vice versa if there were more workers?I: You are correct so long as the scaffolding is not allowed to move. I.e. the cables suspending it are locked and not unwinding from their spools as more workers get on. More weight added would necessarily increase the tension in this type of case. However, if, when another worker got on and the tension could not increase for what ever reason, a downward acceleration would take place that is proportional to the worker's weight. Hope that clears things up.

Get the industrial done first, and if you still feel OK afterwords, you can get your other ear done by the same piercer. Talk to him/her and let them know what you want to do before you start. If you feel like you need to wait after the industrial, wait at least a day before getting the second piercing. It's all about what you can handle.
