Q: If I built a box using standard diameter scaffolding tube (48mm) and connected it using kee clamps rather than standard scaffolding connectors, do you think it would be strong enough to support a 2000lb bar being dropped on it from a 2m height without breaking? I want to build it without welding, but am concerned over the strength of such a box connected only with kee clamps.
though that page doesn't seem to be quite complete
Q: I'm 16 and I already have 3 piercings in each lobe, one on one ear stretched to 12mm. I didn't really think they hurt that much. I also have my nose pierced and had that done with a needle (thus hurting more than a gun) and I mean that hurt but I didn't cry or anything or start freaking out. If I do get my scaffold piercing I'll be going to a very good and trusted piercing and tattoo shop, where the person piercing me will probably be someone I know, so I completely trust them. I am pretty good with pain I supposeI just want some idea of how much it will hurtThankyou (:
Yes. It like someone pinching you for a short period of time
Q: I would like to ask the bowl buckle scaffold operating layer is what?
The second is the external wall, the use of steel pipe scaffolding, such as structural decoration, which is divided into single and double scaffolding, double row with landing and cantilever.
Q: I just got a scaffold piercing, Is there anything I can do to make it heal faster?
wats a scaafold peircing
Q: So I'm going to get a scaffold/industrial piercing, and I had a few questions:-does your ear have to be a special quot;shapequot;? Like I mean does you outer ear cartilage rim have to stick more so it can be pierced? My outer cartilage rim is a little flat but it still sticks up -Would this make my piercing reject? Thanks! :)))
You can still get the scaffold done, but it might not take to your body well. You also need to be careful of the piercer that you choose. If your piercer places the bar in the wrong place, it can cause keloids or stress bumps. This might also happen if you don't have the right ear. I got an industrial, and my piercer didn't seem to put the bar exactly where I wanted on one end. Although I took very good care of my piercing, and didn't put any stress on it, I still got a keloid on that side of the ear, and it wouldn't go away. A lot of my friends had beautiful industrials, and I couldn't figure out why mine looked the way I did until I did a little more research, and the keloid appeared because my piercer did not pierce my ear in the correct location. I had to remove the piercing for the keloid to disappear. This might happen to those who don't have ears that are fit for an industrial. If you do decide to get it, please don't mess with it (although it's hard not to). When you sleep, try cupping your hand over your ear so that you don't put pressure on the piercing. :-) If you don't know what side you'd like it on, get it on the side that you sleep on the least. You may get a bit of a stress bump around the piercing, but these tend to disappear once the piercing heals up.
Q: does it hurt more than just getting your lobes pierced or the same?i just got a my ears pierced (so now i have two lobe piercing on each ear) it didn't hurt.i'm not sure if i should get it or not.
It is one of the more painful ear cartilage piercings and, as such, hurts more than getting your lobes pierced. It's also much more difficult to take care of. BTW: I love your Andy Warhol avatar. He's my favorite artist.
Q: How bad? :/ i'm a real baby when it comes to this stuff
I think i have a pretty high pain tolerance and i thought it hurt. It wasn't terrible but it still hurt. It also is really sore after but maybe take some advil or something before and hope that may help. Good luck
Q: A 51.0 painter is on a uniform 23.0 scaffold supported from above by ropes . There is a 2.0 pail of paint to one side, as shown.
Let the scaffold be extended beyond 1m. Let the man walk beyond the right rope. Now tension in the left rope will be zero, if balanced. No units are given Now to the left of the right rope there are two forces, 1. due to the pail and 2. due to the weight of the scaffold. To the right of the right rope the man is standing at a distance d m from the right rope. Taking moment about the right rope, 23*2 + 2*3 = 51* d d = 1.01 m Since the scaffold has an extension of 1m from the right rope, the man go to the extreme right end of the right rope. ======================================... Suppose he moves to the left of the left rope, then the tension in the right rope is zero Taking moment about the left rope, 51* d = 23*2 + 2*1 d = 0.94 m That is from the left end this distance is 1- 0.94 = 0.06 m ===========================
Q: I bought 100 tons of scaffolding steel pipe, according to the 150 tons of rack pipe to prepare various kinds of fasteners and fastening screws. How to calculate.. Thank you all
For the convenience of calculation, the working group can according to the corresponding standard scaffolding scaffolding load, the statistics range and ETA lambda value, compiles "m table for the reader to use
Q: Would like to build a scaffold to use to paint interior of house using common materials (wood, PVC pipe, tubular steel etc) which I can buy at Home Depot and quot;boltquot; together. Top level only needs to be 6ft high to do what I need.......Any ideas or plans....rather than renting or buying a ready made one? Thanks
If you only need the top to be 6' high, why not rent one? Go to a rental yard and rent a baker. It's 6' tall, and has holes in the frame every 6 or so. This allows you to build it on stairs. It's a safe alternative to building your own. Hope this helps.
