- Q: What is the nominal diameter of the phi 1/2 in the pipe joint?
- 1 inches =25.4mm.1/2 "- 4 thiophene, 3/4" - 6 thiophene, etc..Pipe, pipe thread and machining are often used in these old units, but they are not legal units of measurement in our country.Installation industry and business are commonly used in this unit.
- Q: what do i do about dry hair?
- Yes, the alarm should go off when something with a barcode is passed through the sensor system.
- Q: Why should you keep a fire extinguisher handy when making the classic dessert crepes flambé de l’orange?
- Well I went to Hershey Park in PA and it was awesome 2 years ago, they were the best fireworks I ever saw. Probably the DisneyLand in L.A. will have some great ones to see though! Generally the theme parks have some great ones.
- Q: How should thread thread be broken in the joint?
- Here are a few options for you to choose from:1, in the middle of the broken wire hole, the wire breaking out with broken wire puller or other fixtures.
- Q: I am trying to install a new smoke alarm inside a room of my house, but when I attach it to the wires in the ceiling it sets off all of the other smoke alarms in my house until I detach it. Is this supposed to happen (in which case is there a way that I can silence them all at once or do I have to silence each one individually), or what can I do so that this doesn't happen?
- The difference between sch 80 and sch 20 is thickness. On the pipe the outside diameter is the same the wall thickness is what changes same on fittings. So yes they will work the fittings will just be thinner walled tha the pipe. This link will give you pipe dimensions. Good Luck
- Q: Specification for thread of gas couplings

- Q: Quick history I am remarried to DD stepdad for 3 months.was seperated from her dad for 2 years.we moved in with stepdad after the wedding, about 3 months now. In the past 2 months DD has wet herself 3 times.Once was at night, once was coming out of the pool, once was coming home from the park. She also did this a few months ago when my dad was in the hospital. She just stood in the hall and peed.Dad has since passed away and we have moved in with new husband and stepfamily. There are 7 of us all together now where before there was only she and I.Could this all be attributed to the changes in her life? Am I not paying enough attention to her? Any advice will be helpful.
- When I was in school in the 70's I never did that although I had friends who did - some of the things that I did were maybe worse in a way although still just kid pranks and nobody ever got hurt and there was no property damage. If and when the school found out who you were you were suspended for at least a week , probably 2, no if's and's or but's. Sadly nowadays we live in a different time and on campus pranks are not tolerated well at all. I've heard that a false alarm is a lower class felony and some schools have even considered it a terroristic threat, maybe this is incorrect? I don't agree with this but it's the world we live in. In my opinion the school did over react but it's pretty much predictable. Most schools nowadays have a zero tolerance policy in order to keep peace within the schools which in light of what happens now may not be an entirely bad thing. Ultimately I think that a polite but firm letter to the school board as well as principal and possibly a visit with an attorney may be what is needed for a lighter sentence but remember that the school pretty much can do as they please on this and many will support it. Schools don't like scandal so they may tone it down a bit if you are willing to make a fuss and yet compromise, just be realistic in your requests. All I know is that I was far from a bad kid but I'd end up in prison nowadays for doing what were silly pranks back then. Best of luck!
- Q: Inspired by another question I asked just recently.
- Remove the smoke detector and replace it with another. You said there was a smell coming from the heater. When you had it repaired there may have been some oil that has dripped on the burner and if that is happening that could be your problem. Take the heater back to the repairman or call first and he should turn the heater on and correct the problem. Jo Ann
- Q: Has anyone (other than firefighters) ever been taught how to use fire extinguishers?
- If you've unplugged it and detached the cord, then reconnected the cords and tried it again and it still won't work, it's toast. Electric blankets used to last decades, but most current models have a lifespan that's exactly the length of the warranty. How's that for progress?
- Q: If a fire were to break out in your house right now, would you know exactly where the nearest one is?
