Application
1. it has a strong deoxidation and desulfurization effect as well as dephosphorize.
2.Barium can effectively reduce the vapor pressure of calcium, increase solubility of calcium in the molten steel, which improve the efficiency of deoxidation and desulfurization and improve the stability of calcium.
Usage:
Excellent deoxidizer of Steel making secondary material, widely used in varies steel types especially well applied in BOF steelmaking deoxidization, improve the liquidity of molten steel and avoid built-up at the nozzle. Decrease gas and impurities.

- Yes, mainly the band Ministry from Chicago, Ill. (started in the USA. Hey how 'bout that, eh?) in the early/mid 80's, KMFDM, <PIG> and a few others came later in the late 80's. The genre itself exploded during the 90's and is still going strong today for those in the know.

- Si is a semiconductor therefore, if it is heated about the transition temperature, it conducts electricity like a metal. Below that temperature, it does not conduct electricity. Other than that, it looks and behaves pretty much like a metal. Like most metals, it does not occur in the pure form in nature, it exists as Si bearing minerals, the most common is silica, SiO2. You can heat Si up and melt it and pour it and solidify it. You can melt it and add other metals to make alloys. Si is not very ductile, at room temperature it is brittle as glass. Most metals are ductile but there are some metals that about as brittle as Si. Si is an odd ball because solid Si is less dense than liquid Si so, like water ice, solid Si floats on top of liquid Si. The only other pure element that floats on it's own liquid is Bi (I think).

- actually the metal ion inhibition is very comlicated phenomenon , it is noncompetititive , irreversible kind of phenomenon , according to the reports available these metal ions probably bind to the free sulphhidryl (-SH) grops of the cysteine amino acids present in the enzyme , thereby changing the confirmation of enzyme which is not suitable for the substrate. however there are also reports they sometimes also remove the metal ions present in the enzymes

Death Magnetic is a big relief from Load, Reload, and St. Anger...it isn't as good as their first few albums but is one of the best metal releases in the 00s (along with Slayer's Christ Illusion and several of Dream Theater's albums, to name a few...)...
