Q: at the moment i am not using a lcd monitor and i want to put it away but i dont know if it is safe to store it laying down facing the lcd screen up. because i know that you cant do this with plasmas.thats anyone know the safest way to store a lcd monitorthanks
Upright with something cover the screen itself.
Q: Jitter ripple occurs after the VGA is connected to the LCD screen
Change a good line of VGA, poor quality VGA line, interference is poor, there will be fluctuations. It is best to find the original disassemble VGA line, such as those of PHILPS Samsung
Q: I need to know which LCD would be good for ps3must have:HDMI (no reductions needed only hdmi cable please),720p minimum resolution,22+ inches, also i need to be assured it is going to work with playstation 3 and no more than 199 bucks
dude i've got been given a samsung plasma, and that i like it on the ps3, samsung is a great style, my telephone, refrigerator, and tv are samsung and that all of them rock, and liquid crystal reveal is superb no count the size, and hdmi, will advance the reveal. 1080p isnt noticable untill you get to the extra suitable television's, yet its a competent characteristic, mines 720p and it surely seems extra suitable than any of the 1080's at sears. and blu-ray rocks with hdmi, your toataly in with that setup. happy gaming!
Q: alright, im jus about done setting this up but i have to set the speakers which i have a problemim trying to connect the Logitech X-540 speakers to the LCD Monitor in which i dont think i have the right cables or adapters for it. does anyone have ideas?
What is the model of your LCD monitor? Your monitor has a headphone jack. Use a 3.5mm cable like you would out of a PC. Should work just fine.
Q: I am using a VGA box on my Sega Dreamcast so it will output VGA, and when I use this box, I notice that there are faint non-moving vertical lines on the screen, but only when I hook it up to an LCD monitor or TV. The lines are not present when using a CRT monitor. This is very aggravating, and I have no idea what the problem could be. Could it be that one or more of the capacitors inside the VGA box are bad? Or what? Thanks in advance.

Q: I wonder, are HD LCD monitors worth it? How are they compared to a regular LCD? Dumb question, I know. I'm usually the one that answers these kinds of questions
All LCD monitors sold now are HD, except for some very small ones intended for use with cash registers and the like. If you mean full-HD, as in 1920x1080 resolution, it will definitely be worth it if you plan on using it for PS3 or Xbox 360 gaming, or for watching Blu-Ray. If you plan on watching 1080p video on your computer, a monitor with at least 1920x1080 resolution will guarantee that you get the most detailed picture. For general PC gaming and Internet usage, a widescreen monitor with lesser resolution (1680x1050, 1600x900, etc.) should suffice. Don't get caught up with the terms: full-HD is more of a marketing term than anything that indicates that the monitor can fully resolve 1080p video. But the only 1080p video we have currently is Blu-Ray as well as a few PS3 and Xbox 360 games, and maybe some PC games. In any case, you probably won't see much of a difference on a monitor with slightly lesser resolution. No different than the days of the no-so-distant past when people debated whether it was worth it to get a CRT monitor capable of QXGA 2048x1536, or whether UXGA 1600x1200 would suit them, or whether a UXGA 1600x1200 monitor was worth the extra cost over a SXGA 1280x1024 one. Many times the price difference isn't all that great, so the call is yours, depending on what you plan on using it for.
Q: A thin line of liquid crystal display screen
You can turn on the monitor, unplug a 30 foot screen from the rear of the screen, clean it, reinstall it, and test the machine. If you can solve the problem, it means the poor contact between the screen and the thread. If that's still the case, the death penalty for the display can basically be declared. The reason is that if the small vertical line is fixed is the most bad LCD cable. If not the majority of small vertical lines in cold condition is caused by the fault screen circuit. Screen line and circuit maintenance feasibility is not high, even if some places can maintain costs, but also can buy a similar type of good second-hand display.
Q: I would like to know the approximate lifespan of LCD monitors. I have an 22-inch Samsung LCD monitor. They are expensive, so I hope they last at least for 2-3 years with say at least a couple of hours of use daily.I tried looking around, but couldn't find the answer. If anyone has experience, do share. Thanks in advance.
Most of the modern day LCDs last for 2-3 yrs minimum, so there's no problem there. As Megan said, they can last up to 8 yrs (or more) based on usage environmental factors.
Q: Why does the LCD look a little flash?
There may be a problem of lower hardware configurationYou can change the monitor to someone else's computer to see if there is any blinking or not. That might be the reasonMy display is also like this before, for a long time over load online games, the results of a flash on the phone, and later added a new memory to solve this problem
Q: hi there.i bought a used LCD monitorbut in the bus the monitor got hit by accident.and now i see ink on the screen from the insideis there any way to fix this.thanks.
you cant really fix it the only way is to take it to a repair shop and ask them if changing the LCD screen will fix the problem if so then that would be the best way to fix it.
