Q: I'm using BenQ's FP73G
Check the monitor and the main line, plug it tight, the plug is tight, that is, the monitor is broken.
Q: I have 2 options on my Gateway widescreen monitor (the $600 one with component inputs and such) for Phase Clock. When playing 360 on it thru VGA and I hit the auto button (auto-detects picture settings for you) it usually puts Clock at 9, and Phase at 30 or so. I usually jack up phase to 100 b/c the manual says it sharpens the picture, and clock i bump up to 12-14, because it stretches the picture and makes the screen look a little more natural (9 looks too horizontally squished, altho it fills the screen). Can any pro's out there tell me what these to options really do? Also, any other advice for this monitor?
Phase Monitor
Q: I am a little retarded when it comes to technology.I found this monitor that I really like(its a ViewSonic 19 LCD Monitor in case anyone is wondering.).ANYWAYS-It says that it can be either a TV or a computer monitor. My question is-When it says thatcan I use it as a monitor AS WELL as my tv? I don't have cable in my bedroom. All I would do is hook up my computer and my dvd player to it.Is that a totally retarded question? Does that even make sense? Can someone help me? :)
It might mean that the monitor has a TV tuner in it; if so, sweet. You should be able to use it as both without too much trouble, since that's what they would've designed it for. If you aren't able to get a cable signal to it somehow, I'm not sureif it's able to pick up a few channels just on the airwaves, that's great, otherwise you might want to look at a cable splitter or something.
Q: Are Lcd's high def?
no I think TFT has alot more to offer.TFT is definately High Def when you view you desktop and stuff. But you can't watch movies as the RAM has to be faster and the CPU usage capacity has to be higher.
Q: What does "LCD" mean?Do you have any letters to distinguish between the screen and the widescreen? 22 what does "FHD" in W LCD FHD mean?
Let me answer.LCD is English abbreviation for Liquid Crystal Dispaly. LCD display.17''LCD stands for 17 inch LCD displays. The 17 inches refer to the diagonal length of the viewable area of the lcd. Unlike a CRT display, it refers to the diagonal of the outer frame. The previous LCD monitors were universal, with no extra letters. Later appeared 16:10 widescreen, expressed in W. Now there's 16:9 again. But W refers to widescreen.FHD is English abbreviation for Full High Definition. Full hd.Full HD refers to the resolution of 1920*1080.
Q: I bought this used LG Flatron W1934s LCD monitor. When I connect it to a PC, the desktop shows up but system shows it as non-Generic PNP Monitor and doesn't show 16:10 resolutions at all. Moreover monitor goes to stand-by mode within 2 minutes. It turns black like it had no connection to system. I'm using a VGA cable through a DVI converter on my Nvidia Geforce 9600GT. I've even tried it on simple VGA port on different PCs but same result. LG says it doesn't need drivers to work properly though I've tried but no good. Any idea what's wrong?I'm using Windows 7 but I've tried Windows XP too.
The Bible is the proof of Christianity. Native americans were not presented to the bible except 1800's. There were societies, Bundle holders, more than a few gadgets to preserve your clan and beliefs together. No Bible to again that way of life. Catholics and Mormons came and created their own manual for his or her religion. That you can additionally religiously brush your tooth each morning. The way, the reality and the sunshine. The Lord.
Q: If so, LCD does less harm for your eyes but I feel nothing difference for staring between LCD and CRT. They do the same harm for your eyes when you are staring for a long time, I guess.
hey i have been using both LCD and CRT but there is a slight difference . both will hurt your eyes if you stare on it for a long time but the effect with LCD is a little bit less . but the main difference between both of them is the heat radiation it produces CRT produces lots of heat and consumes alot of electric power and is vulnerable to causing accidents(fire) LCD has no radiation but the only problem it has is the flare (brightness) same as CRT my final conclusion is that LCD is better than CRT low -power consumption -no heat radiation -low desk space -portability
Q: I haev a LCD monitor that requires 12V, 5A and AC adapter that is said to support 19V, 4.74A.Will I be able to use these together and not have a power wreck?
I ain't sure what you have but I DO know that the wrong power adapter will possibly burn up the monitor circuitry
Q: I own a BENQ FP7IE lcd flat panel monitor.
It sounds like your liquid crystal show show screen is on its way out, they do no longer final as long because of the fact the previous CRT tube video show contraptions, i'm instructed that they burn out very at as quickly as in all probability because of the warmth generated from them, in case you nonetheless have your previous show screen i might plug this back in to the computing device till you may have the money for to purchase a sparkling TFT liquid crystal show flat show show screen, I extra a HP TFT 19 extensive show from computing device international final month and the fee exchange into ?a hundred and forty it additionally has geared up in audio gadget so i might recommend to pass right down to this save and take a glance on the video show contraptions there and notice if there is one that suits you and is low-fee, good success
Q: I picked up a 19 Hanns G LCD monitor to use with my laptop as an external monitor. The connection is a standard VGA and using the VGA out from the laptop. The issue is, on dark colors (but not black!), it looks like there's a little bit of noise or fuzziness only on those darker colors. On lighter colors, there are no issues. The colors overall look balanced and bright. The 'moving noise' is hardly noticeable unless you're a few inches away from the screen, but want to be safe since it's brand new and can return it if necessary. Is this normal on some LCD's? Could it just be the analog signal? Anything else it could be? Thanks!
Your could try bumping up the refresh-rate through your display settings, but it is most likely a result of being a poor-quality monitor
