We abandoned it because my wife wanted to have a bed that was a little easier to make up, so we got a tube style waterbed mattress (supposedly waveless) but we found this inferior, especially toward the edge where it went from the tubes to the conventional mattress siding. We would get one again today, but we don't seem to have any dealers in our area. The other drawback to any waterbed is that it will weigh a lot when filled with water. If you are renting, you should check to be sure you can have a waterbed.

Its soft, warm economical and the most safest thing for little hammies to sleep in. One tip....rip the tissue up and throw it all over the cage and watch your little friend racing about stuffing it in his cheeks and carrying it off somewhere to make up his bed!! They are also in sofas, chairs, and less often in carpets. It is very hard to eradicate a bad infestation of bedbugs and you are well advised to call an exterminator. You don't want to be spraying poison on your mattress and then putting your body down there in all those toxins. Good luck! And BTW bedbugs don't live in wood. Termites live in wood and don't bite people. They swarm up and look like flying ants.
