Q: Are plastic tubes microwave-safe?
No, plastic tubes are generally not microwave-safe as they can release harmful chemicals and melt in the high heat of a microwave.
Q: How are plastic tubes printed with instructions or warnings?
Plastic tubes are typically printed with instructions or warnings using various printing techniques such as screen printing, digital printing, or pad printing. These methods involve transferring the desired text or image onto the tube's surface using ink or other printing materials. The specific technique used depends on factors like the complexity of the design, the type of plastic, and the desired durability of the printed information.
Q: It Says... 'A long lasting, chewable play tube, made from a special, safe and environmentally friendly vegetable parchment. More hygienic than plastic tubes, with porous structure allowing greater ventilation. Excellent for rats, chinchillas, guinea pigs and other furry pets. Dimensions approximately 9 long x 4 diameter'Help please
If you go to that site, and check the classified ads, there are people with excellent wood for sale that is safe for your chin. One lady has apple wood that is fantastic and Pet Products By Nature has pretty much any other kind of wood you can think of. Pecan is a huge favorite here because it has thick bark and lots of chewing. If you want this for a hidey house, a PVC tube covered with fleece will last longer, is washable, and is a lot better investment. You can hang it with chains or drill holes in it and insert screws and washers to hold it in place. You can also see those on CnH with examples to look at if you want to build your own. There are very, very few things that I recommend for chins from pet stores. Two types of feed (Mazuri and Oxbow), one type of hay (Mazuri), and pine, aspen, or Carefresh Ultra. That's about it. Other than that, I don't believe the pet companies are at all interested in the safety of my chins. They just want my money.
Q: I get loads of plastic tubes of mini eggs at easter, and they just get thrown away. What could i make out of them?
I don't think you can really do anything with them. Instead of throwing them away, just recycle them.
Q: Can plastic tubes be easily labeled or branded?
Yes, plastic tubes can be easily labeled or branded. They provide a smooth surface that allows for clear and durable printing of logos, text, or any other desired branding elements. Additionally, various labeling techniques such as adhesive labels, screen printing, or direct printing methods can be used to customize and brand plastic tubes efficiently.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for HVAC lines?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for HVAC lines. Plastic tubes, such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), are commonly used in HVAC systems for their durability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion. They can be used for various applications including refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and water supply lines, providing a cost-effective and efficient solution for HVAC installations.
Q: tubing leading from and to the very top of the tube and directly under the faucet. Does anyone know what it is called? And, is it easy to fix?
its one of the water supply lines it is easy to fix first turn off the water to the sink it should have a valve you turn clockwise to turn the water off get an adjustable wrench which you can get from any home depot type store use the wrench to remive the line the top one may be tricky because of the small area and you might can get it with your hand just have to see what works also get a pair of small channel lock type pliers to help with the line disassembly and then take the line to home depot and they can find one that will work then put it back together like you took it apart and turn the check for leaks
Q: What are the different shapes of plastic tubes?
There are various shapes of plastic tubes available, including round, square, rectangular, oval, and triangular.
Q: I would like to connect a Maytag icemaker valve to 1/4 plastic tubing. This is not for use in an actual ice maker. I've tried using a compression fitting from Home Depot, but it leaks between the tubing and fitting. Using the collar and insert pieces don't make a difference.Any idea on how to securely connect this two parts?
the parts do have to be wrench tightened on the compression fittings. I find if you put a little teflon thread compound on the parts as you assemble them it will prevent any leaks. remember to cut back the tubing you have already tried before because it will be deformed.
Q: Can anybody tell me what the plastic tubes/lines are that run along the under body of my 2003 GLI? I was driving down the highway the other day, and a Semi truck dropped a big chunk of ice off of it and I took a shot to my under body. When I got home I checked under neath and notice it dented my fuel filter pretty back and pinched a white plastic hose that was next to the fuel filter. I followed the line and it goes into my rear pass. wheel well. I looked in the owners manual but I can't find anything on these lines that are under there. Some are blue and some are white. Anybody know what it is? I unkinked the hose and everything seems to be running fine, I'm assuming it's some type of vent, maybe for the gas tank, but I've never seen anything like this before, and I'm kind of confused why they would run something like that under the body of a car that sits so low to begin with. I would really like to know what these lines are. Thanks!
Ok, There are three lines one black white and green! Two are fuel lines one is fuel feed line and the other is return line to the tank! The other is a vent line or evap line! So I would check them out very closely for damage! If you look under your hood to the right of the coolant bottle are said lines you can follow each one ond see where it goes and what it goes to! Hope this helps.
