- Q: I am getting a plan with boost mobile soon. I was looking for boost mobile phones on OKorder but I couldn't find one that I like. So I wanted to ask: Which phone should I get?*I like to text*I want something cute*I don't want it to be to old.So what do you recommend?
- I have Boost Mobile and I purchased the Motorola i335 and am very unhappy with it. It's terrible for text and has a short battery charge. The small display on my phone is very scratched already with just normal use. I tried to return the phone in the first week after I purchased it with no luck. I have the 50. Unlimited plan and added 10. for unlimited international text. No one else I've found offers unlimited international text. Boost has the best plan I've found but poor service quality and the Motorola i335 is not a good phone. I know this does'nt answer your question but may be helpful.
- Q: I have a mobile phone, an LG CU515. For as long as I've had it, I've experienced disruption of service. At random parts of the day, in any weather condition, I will hear a slight beep, and then open my phone only to read, Smartchip not allowed MM#The phone isn't shutting itself off, I just can't make or receive any calls, or text messages. WhenI'm in the process of an Instant Message, I'm immediately signed out. I've found powering it off, and then back on, fixes the problem. I miss calls and texts if I don't have the phone around me, as I don't hear the slight noise that always sounds, when these distruptions occur. I always get the messages that are missed, once I power the phone off and on.I've had the phone for at least 4 months. I've talked to 4 different 'experts' at ATT, but they're clueless. I'm very simple. I don't ask for much, but this is quite bothersome. Can you advise?
- Either get a brand new phone. Or a brand new sim card. or hopefully, a brand new phone AND a brand new sim card. If after 4 months you're still having this problem, it's time to replace the phone. If it still happens, then replace the sim card.
- Q: How does the phone restart?
- Go to System Settings - Privacy (android version of the phone please choose backup and reset) - restore factory settings - reset the phone.
- Q: I am in Canada and trying to call a spain mobile phone.
- If she has an mobile / cell phone from an other country, like Canada, you phone her like you would at home. You can ignore the fact where she is, but remember she has to pay a lot of extra fees. If she has an Spanish phone, you use the same set of numbers as for any phone in Spain. I think in Canada you can also use + or 011 to phone internationally, 34 for Spain and the following number should start with a 9. If you use a mobile phone when abroad, remember to use all codes your provider needs you to use. And to have international roaming on.
- Q: I bought a sidekick phone from t-mobile in the states. and I was wondering since it says that it's a quadband phone and unlocked, if I could use it in germany?? aren't quadband phones suppose to work everywhere in the world? could I just put a SIM card from a german provider in my phone once I get there?will it work??thx
- Yep, will work. I did the same with my three-band mobile phone from the states. I also bought it from T-mobile. I am German and was in the states for some time, loved my phone and took it back home, put my old sim-card in from my prepaid phone -works! No problem, other than the language I have on my phone is English now, and T9 for texting won't work with texts in German, as the vocabulary I would need to teach my phone exceeds the capacity. So I type my texts manually. But what the heck. Phone works.
- Q: i am planning to get a new phone, my plan that i have right now is unlimited internet so i want a phone that im able to go online also i text alot so im not sure which phone is better the following phones are the ones that seem interesting.-t-mobile dash-t-mobile wing-t-mobile sidekick lx-t-mobile blackberry curvewhat phone is better/good and which phone will you recommend?????
- don't get a tmobile dash or wing. from the people over at the PBD forums they said the phones freeze too much (probably because of windows mobile). i myself have a sidekick lx and the sidekick gekko/2008. the sidekick is probably your best choice. its a great multitasking device. you can be texting someone, be on aim/msn/yahoo, browsing the internet, and listening to music all at the same time and the phone wont lag at all. and all your information and things on your phone will be backed up by dangers servers so nothing is ever lost (phone contacts, emails, texts, settings, etc.). they have a great keyboard that no other phone can beat. The moodlights of course, and the keyboard also lights up along with the moodlights now. but if your looking for a lighter phone with all the LX features (except the moodlights) get the sidekick 2008/gekko. it lets you customize your own shells or make your own with online using your own pictures. in addition to that, its also A LOT lighter than any other sidekick. and also the sidekick has the cheapest data plan of all phones (which saves some money). its only $19.99 for unlimited text/picture messaging, internet, and instant messaging, and keeps you backed up by dangers servers. i suggest getting insurance for it $4.99. any other questions, feel free to contact me. xD
- Q: I have this really nice T-Mobile phone a friend gave me but i am with Boost mobile is there anyway that i might be able to unlock the phone to work with Boost Mobile? My current phone is Sanyo Incognito and it has no sim card.
- You are duh duh duhhh. I had my sprint and it worked on boost. They said maybe all features may not work, but when set up the esn, everything worked fine. people who think they know everything needs ta not answer bring they know 100%. Been there done that.it did work with my sprint mobile on boost. the end.lmao
- Q: Mobile phone desktop pages too much, how to delete?
- Swipe the screen to the page you want to delete, (usually blank pages).
- Q: Alright so I just got this new virgin mobile phone (and my parents won't buy me a new one so don't tell me to get a new one) and it's messed up!!! I have to keep the battery out of it! When i put the battery in and turn it on it goes to the hello screen and then the virgin mobile screen and then just cuts off!! About 10 seconds later it will turn on by itself and repeat the process! Can someone tell me what to do?
- how much capacity does the memory card hold if its a 2 gb
- Q: I bought this cool mobile phone and i want to set it up for gprs im using mtn and vodacom i calld mtn and they say i must set it manually by the technicians. any one who know how to set it manualy please help i want to browse the internet. im in south africa
- first u have to tell about the model or company of the phone but if not then follow these easy steps may be this work Select a Frequency Band to Activate GPRS Step 1Access the phone's settings from the phone's main menu. Note: In countries outside of the United States or North America, you typically need to use the 900 MHz/1800 MHz frequency to get a GPRS signal from one of the mobile providers in another country. Step 2Click the Network option from the menu that appears. Step 3Select Band to begin the band selection. Step 4Click on the band option that you want to activate a GPRS connection, such as 850/1900, 900/1800 or automatic if you are uncertain of the GPRS band. Step 5Turn the device off and then back on if it does not automatically select the band and you have selected the automatic option. Create a Network Connection to Activate GPRS Step 1Access the main menu on the phone to get to the settings menu. Step 2Click Network, and then Network Setup (which usually appears as an option but depends on your model of phone). Step 3Select Manual or Automatic. Note: You want to set your phone's option to Automatic so you can establish a GPRS connection with your mobile provider. However, select Manual if you want to choose a different network. Step 4Make sure that your phone connects and you can begin to make calls. Reset the Phone to Activate GPRS Step 1Pull the battery out of your phone while it is turned on. Note: It is necessary to reset your phone at times if there are network glitches or coverage issues. This will re-establish your connect with a mobile provider's network. Step 2Wait approximately 30 seconds, then re-insert the battery. Step 3Press and hold the red Power button on your phone to turn it on. Step 4Make sure that your phone displays the GPRS icon in the status bar to verify you are reconnected with your network.
