Usually it will only cover a certain amount, and there will be a deductible. Also, if the insurance is directly through T-Mobile, you may not be able to get an iPhone since they don't directly support or sell iPhones, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

Q: i got a t-mobile phone that has been disconnected i was wondering if i get a new prepaid sym card am i gonna be able to use it?: I Work for TMobile. Yes, there is no difference between a PrePay SIM card and a SIM card activated on a contract. There is no difference in the process for us in activating a used phone, or a brand new phone. (Except the SideKick) Just know that PrePay will not allow the data functions to work on Data phones (BlackBerry, Wing, Dash, any windows mobile device.) If it is a SideKick, just let the salesman know, it is a slightly different process, but no big deal. Also, if it is a SK and it was previously registered to someone else, after you activate you have to call 1800.937.8997 and ask for the SK department, then ask them to wipe it clean. They dont care where the phones come from, it is not their problems, so dont worry. Hope that helps Choose best answer if you think mine was!!!!

(its a prepaid phone) how do i go through with this. plus, anything else that i should know?: If the phone is inactive right now, you can go into a Virgin Mobile store and ask to activate it. Except since it has no phone number, that might be kinda hard. For unlimited texting, I have a $25 plan that gives 300 minutes, and unlimited texting and web. While you're at the store, they can probably start you on that plan. Or you can go into your messaging settings under Balance Usage and change it from there.

No. T-Mobile does not carry the iPhone, and is unlikely that they can cough up the cash Apple wants in advance to sell the iPhone. If you want an iPhone, you will have to buy an unlocked GSM model. You will not get high speed data though.

Different phones shoot video in different file formats (.3GP, .3GP2, .MP4, etc.). And you need to tell us what kind of computer you have. Editing transcoding (converting) video on a Mac is different than on a Windows PC. One important point, in your Question headline you say you want your phone videos to equal those of bigger camcorders. Most phones do not have the video quality to equal the quality of a bigger camcorder, but you can at least convert them to play normally on a television or YouTube / Netflix style media player. If you want to show or distribute your videos using DVD, then the final video format will be MPEG-2 (or you can use MPEG-4 encoding for Blu-ray HD). But this encoding step is usually handled by the DVD authoring software (Roxio, Nero, iDVD, etc.). For just online distribution viewing (YouTube, etc.), you have a wider choice of video formats for uploading.
