- Q: how to re insulate an attic?
- WellYou will need to pull the old stuff out in most cases on the ceiling side of itMake sure that you have at least a 1 air gap between the roof and the insulationThe floor you may not need to tak the old out depending on the condition of the old materialYou could remove the old from the floor and use a cellulose blown in material that is cheap and very effectiveThere is another typ that you can roll right over the exsistingThe question is vague and lacking a lot of detailsGet a Home Depot 1-2-3 book.

- Q: i have wavy thick hair and it frizzes easyand i was wondering what hair straightener i should useand not too expensive, im only 13and what kind of products i should use with it.thanx!!!
- honestly, i think all hair straighteners are pretty much the samejust get one with high heat settings [unfortunately, your hair won't straighten well if the heat is too low]and try to get a ceramic-plated hair straighteneri think that most hair straighteners are ceramic these daysi have a really cheap straightener from Conair that was around $15, and i also have a really expensive one that was given to me from a friend, which runs around $200the only difference between them is that more expensive one works fasterbut i usually end up with the same resultsi just have to spend more time when using the cheaper onebut besides that, theyre honestly like the exact sameso as long as you get a ceramic hair straightener [which is good for eliminating frizz] then i think you'll be finedont let anybody tell you that the more expensive products work a lot better, cus they really dontand as for products, try a heat-protective spraythere are many brands to choose fromi personally like Nexxus or TRESemmethey have good products that you just spray on right before you straighten your hairthis will minimize the damage make your hair a little less frizzy and burnt smellinggood luck! :D
- Q: Ceramics are often prepared with surface layers of different composition from the bulk, in order to impart a specific functionality to the surface or to act as a protective layer for the bulk materialAnd Thermal-induced phase separation is a good methodBut I wander if there is a model (mathmatical or phyical) developed for this specific topicMany thanks.

- I was at the grocery tonight, and they add fiber to fruit juice nowThat would be alright - be sure to dilute it 1 part juice to 3 or 4 parts water.
- Q: I've become obsessed with these bulky, oh-so-plush and irresistible yarns, but they're relatively hard to find (at least compared to other scratchier acrylics out there)So next time I go yarn shopping, if I'm looking for something like those two brands with that same super soft texture, what should I look for? And while I'm here, are there any yarn companies that sell bamboo yarn in decently sized skeins? I LOVE Bernat Bamboo, but it's kind of pricey for such a small amountSo is there another company that sells comparable yarn for a better value for the size? Or does anyone know where I can find the Bernat Bamboo elsewhere for a bargain? Besides eBay, of course, which is always the number one stop for any yarn venture:)
- Microwave Rock Candy 1 cwhite sugar 1/2 clight corn syrup 1/2 tspcinnamon flavoring red food coloring powdered sugar First get a large baking sheet with sides and cover with a generous helping of powdered sugarSet aside Next, mix sugar and corn syrup in a large mixing bowl.Cover tightly with plastic wrapMicrowave on high for 3 minutes(Take out and stir - make sure you grab the bowl with potholders as it will be VERY hot, and when you uncover the bowl - HOT steam will be coming out so make sure your face isn't real close.) After you have stirred it, recover - microwave again for 3 minutes and 30 secondsRemove - take off cover - it will be boiling - when the boiling has stopped - add flavoring and food coloring - stir quickly - and immediately pour onto your sugared baking sheet ( When you're pouring, try to pour it all evenly on the baking sheet.) Let it cool really well - and then break into pieces( I use my meat mallet :P) I love this recipe because you don't have to worry about the candy thermometers and it's much quicker.
