- Q: i have really curly hair
- My dad is also diabetic and my mom loves to bake so she adapted a lot of her favorite recipesYou can use splenda for any recipes with sugar in them, but it doesn't substitute for brown sugarMy favorite sugar free recipe is apple pieMy mom just uses sweet apples and doesn't add any sugar, but a little cinnamonIt really tastes just the same as regular apple pieOf course there is natural sugar in the apples, so my dad can't eat the whole pie like he would like :-P
- Q: When I was walking around my attic to get to Christmas stuff, I had to cross a part of the insulation (new house, only like 3 years old) and my lighter in my jacket pocket fell out into the insulation while I hopped over somethingI looked for it, but I couldn't find it.I am pretty OCD about fire hazards and what not, but is there ANY chance that the lighter could cause a fire? I read that insulation (at least with newer houses) is flame retardantI actually tested that out with some of the insulation that I took to my garage and the insulation melted slightly but the flame went out almost immediately. This is more OCD reassurance than anything elseSo to calm this, what is the chance percentage-wise of anything catching fire? Also, should I continue to look for the lighter, or just let it be? I've already looked extensively with gloves, long clothes etc.Sorry for being so OCD about this, but it just bugs meThanks so much in advance!
- it would be best to look again and remove the lighter from the attic I would search with a good flashlight while it is dark outside so you are not distracted by daylite refractions It does not sound safe to leave the lighter in an attic as the heat build up during the summer can reach close to 120degrees please look some more .
- Q: I've lived here for 6 years,so I don't know the exact age of the kitchen floor, but lately tiles have been cracking left and right throughout the kitchen and I just can't understand why its suddenly doing this. The only thing I can think that I've done differently is purchased one of those steam mops a few months back and have been using thatIs this a common thing to happen? The grout lines are fine, but there are cracks going through tiles, some are hairline, but others are all the way through and you can feel the tile move when you walk over itIt is just alot of tiles to all of the sudden be crackingAny help would be appreciated.
