Q: I've had a few health problems with me lately, but I don't really have any time to visit the doctor. For about a month now i've had problems with my stoolsThey come out quite sharp, and painful and quite often make me bleedI have no problems passing them, they are just painful to the anus.Aswel as this problem! I keep on getting constant headaches, which occasionally pulsate in immense painI have been to the opticians about this, and I have no problems with my eyesight, and I also managed to take half a day off work to see the doctorShe just thought it was where I was over-tired from workIs she right or can it be something else?My final problems is! That I have been suffering from itching around my bodyI don't think it's eczema because i've had this before and it does'nt look like itThe itching is especially bad when I get into the shower of an eveningI hope someone can help a little bit! Thanks :)
Make sure your eating healthy meals throughout the day but drinking water will helpThere are certain pill you can take however it depends how old you areIf you are still growing (teen) you shouldn't take anything like thatJust use some self control and eat healthy snacks like string cheese or apples dipped in carmelYou will feel better about yourself if you make the effort! Good Luck!
Q: I'm just about to finish insulation and replacing the floor of my parents attic over their garage and want to put insulating panels on the ceiling facing do west to try and keep the heat down so the house fan doesn't run for 18 hours a day during the summerI don't think nails will work they might go trough the roof, staple gun is out as wellAnyone know if there is a glue or adhesive that will work?
1Try using fleece pillow cases: You cut the rectangles, they cut the fringe and tie two pieces togetherWith scraps of fleece they glue trims, using a craft glue like Fabri-TacYou will need several sharp scissorsSharpen them on a butcher steel prior to cutting session2Headboards: Get a supply of large boxes- one for each childHave construction paper, gift wrap, markers, glue, scissors, fabric flowers, etcEach person decorates their boxAt sleep time - as if that really happens - each person puts their pillow in their boxThis box will create a space for each person and may help to deaden sounds made by othersFor more effective sound barrier you could use towels to line the inside of the box3Snacks: Have the children fix some of their own snacksI make cookies, chill, then roll and cut with large cookie cuttersPlace each cookie on its own square of baking parchment or foilWith a fork beat equal amounts of egg white and clear corn syrupDivide into several cups and add food coloring paste in separate cupsDollar store paint brushes can be washed and used to paint the cookiesBake Make pizza doughSeparate dishes with an assortment of pizza toppingsI have kids use my pasta machine to roll doughEach person makes their own pizza on parchment or foil.
Q: How much weight do I need to lose in order to shred 1 to 2 pounds a week?I'm 17 Yrs old, 5'6 and my weight is 270For exercising, I on run on a treadmill for 30-33 min at 9-11amBurning between 300-400 calories depending on my incline. My calorie intake is around 500-1000Is that good or bad? Also, any tips?
ask the person who deals with the alterntors i am sure they will know for sure .ok all the best.
Q: I'm wanting to add insulation to the exterior walls of my house, one company told me that blown insulation told me that they couldn't blow in any insulation unless I took off all my drywall, because the new insulation wouldn't go around the oldAnother company told me that they could do this without taking down the wallsMy question is who's right, if I hire somebody to do this I want to make sure that my new insulation is installed wellThanks in advance.
What type of insulation exists in the walls? That lil detail is important in determining which, if any, co is blowing smoke EDIT The only way to blow insulation 'around' existing batt insulation is if there are voids (channels) connecting to the holes cut for the blower hose (really think they'd be that lucky?) or if enough pressure is generated by the insulation blower to COMPRESS the existing insulation to allow passage of the blown in insulationLast I checked, insulation gets its insulating properties from dead air SPACES not the insulating value of the insulation material itselfAll other things being equal, I'd go w/the folks that said the wall covering must come off where there's existing batt insulation.
Q: help help
You are correct, the average price of gas is approaching $4.00 a gallon but in all honesty, I am not really certain that this will change my mindset much concerning vacationIf you are going to pinch pennies, or in this case dollars, then the word vacation shouldn't even be in your vocabularyIf I want to go, then I will.
Q: Last year at this time I was 200 pounds and cholesterol was 222I am now 125 poundsI eat very healthy, low fat, rarely eat more than 40 grams a fat per day, I do at least 30 minutes or more of cardio everyday, I eat alot of soluble fiber foods daily, apples, grapes, oatmeal, wholegrains ectI never eat fast food or fried foodNever eat chips or other salty snacksalways eat fat free dairy like yogurt, frozen yogurt, skim milkI only drink water, lots of it, I eat fat free candy like gummi candies and lollipops a few times a weekI went for cholesterol test yesterday and it was 246! I fasted for 15 hours! How is this possible? Can eatign fat free candies be causing this?
Are you on any hormone medication like birth control or thyroid medicine? These medications can cause your cholesterol to go upOr if you have a thyroid problem that you don't know about, your cholesterol will go upWhen I found out that I had hypothyroid, my cholesterol was at a 268I started on thyroid medication and my cholesterol went down, but I still have a hard time getting it below 230When I was younger and took birth control for a couple of years, it made my cholesterol go up almost 30 points from 190 to 217.
Q: I want to increase the heat conductivity of clay cookwaresI think metal filings will have minimal expansion when heatedCan the metal filings be added during the firing of clay?
Since you didn't get an answer the first time, I'll state the obviousFrom everything I've read, your wooden skewers will most like burn if they are not pretreated by soakingI have two suggestionsTake the food off the skewers, pretreat them and them put them back togetherWhere did you buy these pre-made kababos? Check with the store to make sure that the skewers have not already been pre-treatedAnyone selling these should know of the risks of cooking with untreated woodPerhaps you'll get lucky and they will have been pre-treated alreadyIf not, don't take a chance on ruining your already yummy-sounding mealTake them apart and put them back togetherIf it's just the handles that are wood, cover them with foil as you yourself already suggestedIf not, you could always cover them entirely with foil but that would defeat the whole purposeSorry I didn't have some magic solution.
Q: My house is facing E-W and getting direct sun all day here in FloridaI just finished siding last Sumer by using a insulation with tight dead air space, my bed room window facing the East has blind shut all day to block the sun, however, my bed room gets hotter than the rest of the room, plus entire indoor house is hotter than even out side especially in the eveningWhy is this, and what can I do ? (do not wish to spend money too much since I just finish putting $30K into this home.
Quite the dillema you haveIf you replace one the air will rush out of the other and vice versaI would suggest setting some kind of schedule and replacing say, one window a month until they are done and then establish a similar schedule for the insulationAt least the windows would improve the way your house looks at the same time right?
Q: everytime i straighten it with a ceramic straightner, it doesnt straighteni even try puttin on heat protectants or something to keep my hair from going curly! nothing works! when i get my hair relaxed at a salon, they say as soon as i get my hair wet, itll be curly/wavy again! all i can use is softeeits kinda like grease or wutever, and it makes me look like my hairs wet ALL the timei dont wanna look quot;thatquot; way everyday! also, can u tell me any products that will help me keep my hair down and striaght?
You may die ur blanket through a washing machine dyer or in the open air space where sunlight are available.
Q: there is some milkweed plants that grow near my houseand they are producing fibers, and i am starting to collect themcan i make yarn out of these if i card them? the fibers are about a inch long.
