Q: My 15 month old has yet to use a blanket in her cribMost of my friends (with babies around the same age, within 3 months) already have given their babies blankets and they are fineIm paranoid that my daughter would pull it over her head or somethingSince its getting colder, Im debating giving her a blanket for the first timeI know some of you will just say quot;Well bundle her up, turn the heat on highquot;.I do bundle her and I do have heat in her room.but with winter coming, even that isnt good enough for me when Im cold, I like a blanket! What age is it safe to give a blanket? My daughter rolls a lot in her sleep, if that matters.
You look at the VIN number! If the seventeenth character (digit) is 5 then it is a 2005 If the seventeenth character (digit) is 6 then it is a 2006 Car spotting the difference by appearance is impossible, there were no trim/style changes.

Q: Hello,I live in San Diego CA and installed a 4quot; air duct to my bathroom fanDo I need to insulate the air duct pipe as well if the rest of the attic is already insulated?
Many bathroom exhaust fans are ductless, just evacuating the air directly into the atticNo need for insulation.

I wouldn't freeze it, it should be perfectly fine in the fridgeGrowing up, we always kept cakes in the fridge (my mom preferred them chilled) and they really taste better/fresher that wayJust cook them, let them cool a bit on the counter, then put them in the fridgeYou could ice them tonight if you had to, otherwise, just get the out of the fridge/wait about an hour, and then ice and no one will ever know they weren't made that dayGood luck and happy b'day to your girl!
Q: Hi,I've recently moved into a 30 year old house which current has a warm loftThe insulation is up against the roof with plasterboard keeping it putThere is no insulation in the loft floorThere are also no vents in the eaves which I presume is correct when having a warm loft.My question is how much heat is lost from the bedrooms into the warm loft? And is it very ineffecient to have a warm loft if I only store things up there? We want to keep storing items in the loft but at the same time keep the heat in the bedroomsShould I insulate in the loft floor as well or will this cause me problems with condensation, etcWhat is recommended for this situation? If I insulate the loft floor do I need to remove the insulation in the roof and add some vents in the eaves, therefore converting it into a cold loft? Could I just add some 100mm/170mm thickness insulation in the loft floor to allow some heat to stay in the room and allow some heat into the loft? Many thanks, Paul.
Hi Paul, You can certainly insulate the loft floorWhatever you do, don't remove any insulation, anywhereDon't add vents unless you notice considerable condensation.
