General information:

Cmax-Ceramic Fibre Blanket is ideal thermal insulation material, fire-proof material and sound-absorbing material. Ceramic fiber blanket has even texture and smooth surface. CNBM ceramic fiber blanket is made of high quality alumina-silicate ceramic fiber by using double side needling methods which improve the tensile strength and the flatness of the ceramic fiber blanket. Our ceramic fiber blanket contains no organic binders which guarantee the stability and constructability of the ceramic fiber blanket at both high temperature and low temperature. What’s more, we are main supplier of Morgan .

Advantages:

Cmax ceramic fibre blanket is resistant to most chemicals attack except hydrofluoric phosphoric acid and high pH alkali(na2o or k2o). Its thermal and physical properties can not be affected by oil, steam and water, very good thermal insulating materials.
Heat reflectance
Light weight
Low thermal conductivity
Low heat storage
Flexible
Resilient to thermal stock
High tensile strength
Corrosion resistance
Easy to install
Asbestos free

Application:
Petrochemical process heater refractory fiber lining
Heat treating furnace or intermittent (shuttle) kiln hot face lining
General furnace backup insulation
Heat seals for kiln car or furnace door

Refractory Insulating Ceramic Fiber Blanket 1350 HA

Q: My cousin and I recently installed Batt insulation (R-30) in my atticI found out that the vapor barrier (paper side) of the insulation should be facing down to the living area, in other words not visibleSo, would this really cause mold problems in my attic and lose the effectiveness of the insulation? Is it worth us going up there and spending another day trying to fix it or should I just rip off the paper? It was installed in half the attic since the insulation that was there somehow vanished, I think the animals that were there (squirrels and others) probably took it somewhere else, so no existing insulation was there in that half of the atticThanks in advance!
The other answers here are understating the potential issue with your installationDepending upon the climate and the type of heat you are using you could end up with moisture in the fiberglass being trapped because it cannot escape to the attic as it shouldMoisture trapped in the fiberglass has two issues: first it can significantly reduce the r-value of the insulation, secondly it can cause a build-up of moisture to lay on the back side of your drywall causing discoloration of the ceiling, rusting of the drywall screws or nails, and wicking into the plasterOver time this can cause a big potential messFlipping the batts over is the best action but, at the very least, you should remove the paper from the back of the batts.

Aluminium foil does get hot in the oven, but not so hot because it is a shiny surface and shiny surfaces reflect heat well.
Q: Attic has loose fill awfull blow in insulationwant to replace with corning pink R15How do I CLEANLY remove loose fillI can figure out replacing itWould a shop vac work?
It isn't the absolute worst thing you could give them, but it's still not good for them to have it every single dayThere's a lot of sodium and carbs in themAnd if they eat the same food twice a day every single day, no matter what it is, they clearly aren't getting all of the nutrients they needSince they need things from ALL of the food groupsThere have to be other foods that are as cheap as the ramen noodles, and I am sure you can afford other things if you just try to shop at the cheapest places (Walmart and Dollar General are good places if you are on a tight budget), and you can also look into getting food stamps if you're really having trouble affording decent food for them.
Q: I am installing a new bath fan, and I went up to the attic tonight and notice that I have condensation all over the plastic covering the insulationI have soffits and a ridge vent and it is very cold in the attic and there is a breeze / draft coming inWe open the door when taking a shower and lately we've had a couple of hot vaporizers in the upper bedrooms due to illness What is causing or why am I getting condensation in the attic?
you didn't say if the condensation was under or on top of the plastic but I still wounder why you have plastic in the atticI don't know where you live but you should not have any condensation in your attic if you have proper ventilationThe bath fan should be vented outsideIf you have always had plastic in the attic over the insulation it shouldn't be there it should be under the insulation not on top.
