Q: Need' to get 20 cement blocks home. How many [weight wise] can I put in the back of a PT Cruiser.? About how much does a 'Nellis' type cement block weight?: I just bought an '06 PT Cruiser and I love it. People think it's small inside, but in all truth, there's quite a bit of room - front and back. You can't say it's small inside just by looking inside it - you have to really ride in it to notice the room. It rides very smooth and gives you a great, comfy ride. But if you mix non-vulcanized rubber into cement, it would deteriorate in a few weeks. Second, I think if you mix any substance into cement such as rubber, it would weaken the cement so much that it would lose its purpose. The only thing you could use it for is a flat, non-load bearing structure, such as a slab. If you were to use it in a wall, for instance, I doubt it would retain its original rigidity. What you can do is pour a cement slab, such as for a driveway or sidewalk and inbed rubber chunks into it. On the other hand, if you can figure out how to mix it properly, it may work. Try it in a small batch and see.

Your proposal will not help at all, but would make it bubble and be weak. Just protect the wet cement as builders do eg tilted planks on bricks covered with hardboard or plastic sheeting, corrugated steel or similar

Q: Hey guys, I'm getting a pallet expander tomorrow. I was talking to my friends who have had one in the past and they said they were able to take theirs out. Unfortunately i can not.
