- Acer is an awesome form. I in no way had a situation out of them. of path they are synthetic so as that they are no longer likely to be appropriate no count what form you get yet numerous pc companies like dell and hp use Acer and then in basic terms positioned their call on them.

I have original packaging but shipping it via FedEx or UPS is pretty expensive and am wondering if I can check it in as luggage when I travel. Do you know if they get damaged or if airlines take 'some' care in handling fragile stuff. I've seen baggage handlers toss luggage, don't know how they handle fragile boxes. Thanks.
- My best advice is to take the LCD monitor as carry-on luggage. Do not check in your LCD monitor. Although fragile items are not tossed into the aircraft hold, but they are stacked on top of other fragile items. And you never know what is put on top of your LCD monitor.

- you dont specify a budget, but this is what i would go for. i've got the same one but without the tv tuner and its excellent. the res is 1920x1200 so its actually a bit higher than HD for the pc. i rang overclockers and asked them if a tv would be as good and they said no as the panel is a lot sharper on dedicated monitor. and this ones got a tv tuner anyway so its win win. speakers are a bit poo tho, but they always are on flat screens.

- LCD is a whole glow, no refresh rate problem. So 60HZ is enough

- Just look for a monitor. But I guess you should describe the monitor problem,! It is recommended to send the monitor to a professional repair shop

- You can usually go to your local monitor repair guy and get him to order you the parts directly from acer. I broke my plasma TV and i repaired it myself, i just got the parts from my local guy. Try calling acer and look for a certified repair center and call 'em.

- Well depending on how old your monitor is there should also be a DVI-I(don't know if you already use it or not) as well as a VGA connector on the back(use the monitor menu to switch between connections or there will be a button on the front that says source). In that case all you need is a DVI-I to HDMI adapter and run the ps3 via HDMI(of course there will be no audio) and there should be an adapter for the ps3 to output audio via RCA jacks for older systems. If your monitor doesn't have another connection then you may have to get an adapter for the ps3 (don't know if ps3 has a VGA cable available) they have adapters to connect consoles from RCA to VGA. You'll also need a KVM switch if you need to connect two VGA sources. As for the audio you can buy splitters at your local audio shop. Good luck and sorry for the lengthy answer.

- just play around with it and see which is best, i use 65 hertz on my 24 monitor, but be warning having the refresh rate to high could damage your lcd
