WhenI'm in the process of an Instant Message, I'm immediately signed out. I've found powering it off, and then back on, fixes the problem. I miss calls and texts if I don't have the phone around me, as I don't hear the slight noise that always sounds, when these distruptions occur. I always get the messages that are missed, once I power the phone off and on.I've had the phone for at least 4 months. I've talked to 4 different 'experts' at ATT, but they're clueless. I'm very simple. I don't ask for much, but this is quite bothersome. Can you advise?: I really cannot help you - I am somewhat technologically impaired! Q: I have a t-mobile phone and a plan. But i'm only a year into my contract. I don't want to change the plan but i want to change the phone. I was wondering if i can buy the phone i want from t-mobile which is a SIDEKICK LX- carbon. and just insert my SIM CARD into it and use it. Thanks in Advance: I also have t-mobile and they have good customer service well if you buy one for t-mobile i think you can buy the full price which about $200 or they could extend your contract and give it to you with a discount. I would rather just buy the phone. Not having a contract makes you monthly bills a little lower for like 20 less. It does have AIM so don't worry and yes you can just insert the Sim card to you new phone with the same number.

Each phone has its own code for Ringtones and unfortunately there is no way to get ringtones from one phone to another.you just have to buy them again. Bummer, I know

I love tmobile and sprint phones.: No, you can only use Virgin Mobile phones on Virgin Mobile. I've tried to put other phones on it but they never let me. I hate their phones too. Maybe you should just go with a pre paid with another provider, like T-Mobile flex pay. It's pretty much pre paid, but you have to pay full retail price for the phone, but it's worth it. :) Or ATT Go Phone. I don't know how that works really since I went with the Flex Pay, but either way you'd be getting a much better phone. :)
