- Q: Hi all. In the town where I live there have been placed mobile phone stations on the blocks of flats since we didn't knew that they might be risky for health. On my block that has five flats there are 3 antennas, I suppose (and hope) the low transmission type. This means my apartment is in range of 15 to 25 meters to them. - when you're buying a mobile phone don't get a flip phone. I had 3 flip phones in the past and flip phones don't last that long. and they tend to be easier to break too. When you get a cellphone think about what you will be using the cellphone more for? are you going to be using the cellphone more for texting, talking, emergencies only? If you are a texter and you talk a lot then I suggest you should get a slider phone with a keyboard because its easier to text with a full keyboard on your phone. if you plan on using your cell phone for emergencies then I suggest you can get a non flip phone say for instance a net 10 or a tracfone non flip/non slider phone. which one are you going more towards, prepaid or contract? If you have enough money to spend on a contract plan then I suggest you go with att. I have att contract and they are the best cellphone service. I don't get any dropped calls or dropped text messages and I get 5 air bar waves and I never had a problem with their service. If you don't like to spend a lot of money and you want to go with prepaid then I suggest you go with net 10. I use to have net 10 before I had att contract and from my experience net 10 never gave me any problems, it was easy to use and you would get 200 minutes for 20 dollars and you didn't get dropped calls or dropped text messages from them either and there were always bar waves on the phone so it was a good connection. the only thing I don't like about net 10 is you have to top up 20 dollars once a month because with 20 dollars they will give you 200 minutes but only 30 service days. make sure you shop around very carefully before you get a cellphone and check out the plans too. good luck :-)

- No you can't at this time. It might be possible in the future as Sprint just bought out Virgin Mobile as of last month and they will take at least another six months integrating the two operations. Right now, Sprint only allows Sprint phones and Virgin Mobile only allows Virgin Mobile phones Btw, Virgin Mobile runs on the Sprint network ANYWAY, maybe you want to just buy a Virgin Mobile phone and run it on Virgin Mobile seeing as it is the same as Sprint (except for no roamingbut if Sprint is the only network that works in your area anyway, roaming is not an issue because that involves other carriers besides Sprint.). Virgin Mobile has better prices then Sprint anyway. If you are stuck with the Sprint plan, find a cheap used Sprint phone via Craigslist or OKorder and make sure that the esn/electronic serial number is clean (email the seller on OKorder and find out what the number is first, call Sprint customer care and check to make sure it is clean/not stolen/lost or has money owed to Sprint on it). If it is good to go, buy it. You should be able to activate it on Sprint.

- 1) Upgrading to a different phone 2) Well you change contract do depends if you have to buy the phone 3) you get a new one I think but keep your number 4) Well when you upgrade you have to get a phone that is more expensive that your current phone 5) no you have to upgrade through your network, if you're with t-mobile I think you can upgrade to EE, but if you want to go to like 3 or something you'll have to wait until your contract ends and cancel it, and get a new one with 3 for example.

- Sure, it will fit. Most SIM cards have 1 standard size. Just have the T-mobile phone 'unlocked' so that the ATT SIM card will work on it.

- First, legally they must have a signed agreement. Even if they contacted you on the phone, they needed to send you a hard copy agreement to sign and return/fax. If you did not sign this agreement, or initial something on-line, then they have no right to bill you for it. However, this is voided if you use the equipment they sent you or don't respond within 90 days. Call Customer Service, firmly, but politely ask to talk to a manager then tactfully ask that they fix you credit, credit your account or you will have to take steps through your legal team.
