- I agree with superme I did the same with my daughter too. She went straight to a regular twin bed but I bought her a pretty step stool and a guard rail so she wouldnt fall of and it worked fine for her. If she's one that rolls around a lot you might want to put the bed on the floor then. Now if you do get her own bed and she still gives you trouble it's because she's use to sleeping with you so you might want to try reading her to sleep and go through the routen of constently put her back to bed everytime she gets up until she gets the piont that she's not going back in mom's bed.
