- 1) if you do ok in a lay down bed, you'll do ok in a stand up bed. although, it does get somewhat hotter. 2) stand up beds will tend to tan you faster because the bulbs have almost double the watts than that of lay down beds (beds will differ). this means that your tan is reaching additional layers of skin. you are also getting bulbs all around you instead of only top and bottom. 3) you should only use a stand up bed every other day. the day after you tan, it may not feel like it, but your skin is still tanning being that stand up beds reach a deeper layer of skin. you need to let your skin rest and continue it's tanning process for a day in order to reach your desired tan. 4) you shouldn't have to change positions because it is an all over full body tan. although, some people like to move their arms and legs around. 5) a clean face tans best. but if you prefer to spare your beloved face from the UV rays keeping your make-up on will not cause harm and help protect from the rays. - Go in the stand up one if you can. I find that beds leave areas pale like sides and sometimes you can actually see the bulb marks. The standup ones get everywhere and you cut the time in half.

- Q: I cannot decide if I should get my kids bunk beds, regular twin beds or loft beds. I have one boy and one girl (they have their own room) so they don't really need bunk beds but a few friends have suggested bunk beds for extra room for sleepovers. I like loft beds b/c my kids rooms are small and they leave extra space underneath for a bookshelf a desk or just for playing. At what age will they outgrow or not want bunk beds or loft beds and prefer a regular grown up bed. If your child has a loft bed-do they like it? any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated!
- I wanted a loft/bunk bed, but now I know it's better not to have one. Regular beds are better for lounging. During sleepovers, we all sleep on the floor. I had a loft bed until I got to middle school and wanted a normal one. Also, being high up at night is hard to grow out of. It depends on your kids age.

- We use the wood stove pellets (which probably is the same as the horse bedding pellets) They are darn cheap at the feed/farm stores - $5 for a 40 lb bag. When using them you only put a layer on the bottom and maybe 1-2 cups more - not deep at all like with clay/clumping litter. When they use them, the urine will break down the pellets overnight or the next day and it will be sawdust. The sawdust quickly absorbs urine and even if you wait a few days to dump it all out, the pan is DRY. It is pretty good with odors but not super great. We usually take out the solids once a day and stir up the pellets and sawdust a bit. I end up shifting the pellets once and dump the sawdust from them, putting the unused pellets back in the pan and adding a few cups to that (fresh). I have two large pans (not the regular litter pans in the store) and a bag of pellets will last me about 2 months or so. When (or if) you switch, do so over 1-2 weeks time. Cats do not know that its litter unless they have been raised with it as kittens. So you will need to put in a cup of pellet in the clay/scoopable litter and as you scoop out, add in more pellets. For most all cats, within a week to two you will have them using just the pellets only. To noone below - yes its easier if you can get the special box, but not necessary. A slotted normal litter pan scooper works in shifting (takes me about 5 mins or less to shift a pan with the spoon only.
- Q: Can someone please tell me where we can find a therapy pool-bed? My niece needs one, (This is a bed that sits on the floor and has soft sides that prevent her from rolling off.) - Tanning beds are cheapest when bought in packages. At my tanning salon that I visit it is $50 for 10 tans or about $5 each. Individual tans usually cost about $10. You cannot use oil in tanning beds and there are special tanning products designed for tanning beds. Get one with a bronzer to give yourself a nice glow. And remember moderation is key, You don't want to look like a leather moccasin

- A mattress pad is just a padded fitted sheet that fits over a mattress. It protects the mattress from stains and adds a little extra padding to lay on.
