- Q: this is a long shot but does anyone know of any jewlers or metal suppliers that will sell bars of actual shakudo? it cannot be anything but copper and gold of course, no lesser alloys. ive had no luck on ebay yet and have no idea where i should start looking. im not interested in salvaging it from wares, if i was willing to do that id be making my own instead. if anyone happens to know about traditional Japanese finishing of shakudo that would be super too. i would need to ship it to the united states FYI.thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
