Q: Please recommend a good & cheap vacuum for carpets and rugs.?
hey there- if you're cleaning carpeted stairs a gr8 idea is to use a rubber brush then a high quality dustbuster. there is one sold named xtreme power and it's awesome i have one
Q: I have two carpet cleaners and wish to utilize both. It is easier to keep both extraction tanks separate as they are than to combine them somehow. I might go ahead and run them in series, but I'd like some ideas. Thanks
What? Your question makes no sense. If you have a carpet cleaner you just clean the carpet and that's that. I can't figure out what else you are trying to do.
Q: My vacuum cleaner makes my house smell every time I use it. Its a brand new vacuum. I've tried vacuuming up baking soda but that didn't work. Please help.
Defiantly check the belt and make sure the beater brush in the nozzle is turning freely - even a tiny pebble and stop it and cause the belt to burn and smell. You can do several things - get some carpet fresh powder in a scent you like and make a little pile on a hard floor or tile and suck that up - it should help to 'mask' the stale smell. Clean out the dirt thing - if it has a bag replace it, if its a bagless good old soap, water and elbow grease. I would NOT recommend using carpet freshening powder on carpet! It is a small grit that the vacuum cannot pick up all of and the grit will filter below the carpet destroying the padding and the carpet, plus when you clean the carpet this fine powder will turn to mush when it gets wet and mat the carpet down, ruin the wood sub-floor and generally be icky and nasty.
Q: My Bissell finally died. I used to love Bissell but that was the worst vacuum I had ever bought. I am looking at canister vacuums now. I see the Kenmore has a high rating as well as the Electrolux and the Miele. I want something that will last and has low noise and cleans carpets wonderfully. Any knowledgeable vacuumers out there?
I likewise strongly prefer the upright vacuums rather than the canister vacuums. Much-much easier to use -- rather than having to pull a canister all over the place and try not to hit your furniture. Insofar as brands are concerned, I have 2 Dysons right now ... one for upstairs and one for downstairs. They are absolutely the best vacuum cleaners I have ever had. Have had them for about 3+ years now, and if something goes wrong with them, I would buy Dyson again.
Q: i have 2 dogs and a cat and my carpet and kitchen floor ( tile) is so dirty because my vacuum cleaner is broke
I once said when someone asked me if I owned a shark: Never could, never would, no one should. They are by far the biggest creators of knock off machines of what is supposed to be good (Dysons, other companies' top of the line machines). In the end they overheat and die prematurely because of bad design, and consequently become very noisy or just start out that way. I would also never buy a product from a company that is at the bottom of several other companies. i.e., Shark is a division of Euro Pro, which is part of Eureka, which is owned by Electrolux, which is owned by another company(name escapes me). Each company goes up in rank of quality, Electrolux at the top, shark at the bottom.
Q: If pizza hut sells pizza, sunglass hut sells sunglasses why does fingerhut sell vacuum cleaners?
Becasue after 1912 it became illigal to sell body parts
Q: does anyone own a refurbished Dyson vacuum cleaner? do they work well or break down within months?
Better off with a Henry.
Q: You see - I just moved all my stuff (including the vacuum cleaner) into storage so I won't be able to do it. Eek!
Vacuum it yourself, you never assume someone else will do it, because 9 times out of 10, they don't.
Q: how long have they been in use
not sure but it has been several years I don't know anyone personally that has one I would like to try one but way too expensive for me!
Q: They look like vacuum cleaners
All details are on their home page.
