Q: I've tried various vacuums through the years but none seem to do well on the edges of the carpet. Anyone tried a really good one for that?
I went out and got a shark dustbuster and it works gets around areas like that. It comes with a attachment that gets everything up i love it.
Q: Because it seems to be clogging and breaking all my vacuum cleaners =/
we have a great Pyrenees and deal with like tons and tons of white Cotton like hair and this may sound crazy but we went through four vacuums yes four before we started doing this get a large push broom freaking sweep up as much hair as u can this actually works really well to get hair up and they sell hair sponges made of foam rubber for furniture which also lift hair up brilliantly without needing refill ! we've had the same vac now foe two years other than maintenance cleaning it has survived thanks to this pre vac step
Q: I have some cordless phones and a vacuum cleaner, both of them don't work (broken). I don't know if I can just throw them in the garbage and they will take them? or maybe there is a place where I can take them to be recycled?Help me please
Call your town department of public works. Depending on where you live they may recycle items like this. My town is supposed to be setting up a program like this. For now we just toss them in the trash.
Q: a retailer sold 50 vacuum cleaners at $90 and 35 vacuum cleaners at $140...what is the weighted mean price of a vacuum cleaner sold by the retailer???
110 dollars
Q: thee is so much talk about kirby vacuum cleaners ,are they that good?anyway i want to test one and looking for one to purchase onlinewhere can i look?
We bought a used '94 Kirby in 1996. We paid $400. for it. I like the powerful suction, but it also comes with drawbacks. The following are my opinions about this Kirby: 1. I don't like the cost of replacing the filters (they're about $8. a bag and only have 3 bags in a package. 2. It's not easy to change from vacuum to using the hose. 3. It's kind of heavy and bulky and doesn't maneuver easily. In my opinion, it's not worth it. You can purchase a bagless Dyson for around $500. and they work great. Does the $1800. price include all of the attachments? Do you need all those attachments? Are all the bells whistles worth $1800.?
Q: It's not but two years old. Took it to a house with really old electrical outlets/wiring system, plugged it in and it ran. Turned it off, tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn on again. No electric box switches were tripped/turned off. Also tried it in outlets in all three rooms but it still didn't turn on. Fo vacuum cleaners have fuses the protect the motor? Any thoughts as to what's going on and/or what I can do (besides buy a new one)? Any advice appreciated.
Check the machine for a clog somewhere in the system then look for a reset switch. Some vacuums have a thermal switch that cuts out when the motor gets too hot.
Q: What are the matters needing attention in vacuum cleaners?
Don't use vacuum cleaners for detergents, coal, oil, glass, needles, ash, water, dirt, sewage, matches, etc.
Q: Her husband came home to find his wife sitting in the chair and two vacuum cleaners in front of her.what are you doing? he inquiredWell........ I'VE just done the vacuuming' she retorted proudlyhow do you figure? he askedWell, the guy at the shop told me .........'cuts your work in half'....................so i bought two:)
really dumb..i was avoiding blonde jokes maybe I should bring them out :)
Q: Is Dyson the best vacuum or are the bagged vacuum still actually clean better, we just put in laminate hardwood floors last year and this year we are replacing all the carpet and want it to last!
I okorder .
Q: what is the fear of vacuum cleaners getting near your feet called? because idk why but every time a vcuum comes near my feet i flinch and have a mini heartattack.... anyone wanna tell me? (:
It's called childish. Grow up. The vacuum cleaner isn't going to suck up your feet.
