Q:The cockpits of the planes,vacuum cleaners,home appliances,interior of the old cars literally everywhere: I suspect that blue and red paints were ones of the few things that managed to manufacture in high quantity and reasonable quality. Yellow and green colors sure looked dirty. White might look fine originally but soon became dirty from an actual dirt. If they would paint their planes red it would be a. silly b. too in your face as export of the revolution when such plane would land in other countries It leaves them with blue color only. They had red flag painted on the tail of their planes though.

Q:The vacuum has a really loud noise to it. At one point I seen grease/oil on the floor while it was running. The noise sounds like it needs grease or something. I'm thinking the bearings, but that's just a guess. Please can someone help or advise of a website where I can find the quot;how to fixquot;. Dyson support was useless. They just said to send the vacuum in or bring to a repair center at my cost. My options aren't big, I live in a very small town that doesn't have many or if any repair centers. I am concerned that you have indicated your machine was leaking some kind of oil or grease and neither of these fluids are used in the manufacture of the DC14 or indeed any of our vacuum cleaners. If your DC14 is making a loud noise and is not running correctly, we would strongly advise you take it to a local repair centre or call the Dyson Helpline for assistance. If you are not able to take it to a repair centre, we can arrange for it to be collected and taken to one. Q:So I have heard tales of cats or dogs getting eviscerated(gutted) by a vacuum cleaner. Now personally I do not believe this, I am just wondering if there is any science or knowledge to back this legend up.: Hmm. What Oreck do you may have? I do not know the model of mine due to the fact i'm at work however we haven't had any obstacle with the belt breaking and we've got had it for approximately 7 years and we now have two puppies that shed loads and used to have a cat unless 2 years in the past. It doesn't have any attachments, simply the basic mannequin I feel. We have no carpet though so that would be the main issue for you and the belt you probably have carpet. All of our previous vacuums would best final a 12 months or two but this one has been first-rate! It is so mild too, a Dyson can be heavier....

It should activate, shutting off the power, when the motor gets too hot. Usually this happens because there is a clog in the hose or the vacuum itself, which causes the motor to overheat. Disconnect the suction hose. Turn the vacuum on. Put your fingers over the intake. If it feels like the suction is great and the motor sound happy, reconnect the hose. If the motor sounds unhappy (whining, grumbling, acting like this is hard work), you have a clog. Either take it to a vacuum repair shop or research vacuum clog and take it from there. (A coat-hanger often works).
